Frustrations of Online Arbitrage: Amazon's Unpredictable Listing Deactivation and Price Drops

Last month, I was selling a product at the same price as the brand itself. By the end of the month, Amazon deactivated my listing. I assumed the brand was behind it, so I reached out to them, but they said they had no idea why Amazon blocked me from selling the product.

Now, I’m stuck with over $1,000 worth of inventory that I can’t sell because Amazon won’t allow it. As an online arbitrage seller, this is incredibly frustrating. It takes us about a week to find a good product, and then Amazon either lowers the price or deactivates the listing, making it harder for us to succeed.

This is common on Amazon. If the actual brand owner requests no other sellers may sell their product on the site. Amazon makes it happen. This should not affect your business because you simply sell it on the eBay site, who doesn't care. Hopefully you are an FBM seller and can start tomorrow.
