I have an item that has two states when it is made, the first is the rolled up state: it is a standard size item. The second is the original state: it is a large size item. The first FBA shipments I sent out were rolled up and sent out, so until now they were recognized as standard size items. I tried to send the shipment to the FBA warehouse in the original state of the item (large item size) but it didn't hit the shelves, however I lost the shipment. I am now trying to update it's size to send to the buyer in it's original state, I have tried everything but it is still a standard item size.
Hi @Seller_v6bvusxjOMYHf
FBA Fees are based on weight and dimensions. If the item can be rolled up and sent to customers in the standard size I would stay that way as FBA fees should be less.
Best,
Dominic
I want to give the original shape to buyers, reduce the time buyers spend unpacking, and give them a better shopping experience.
Hi @Seller_v6bvusxjOMYHf,
Understand if that is the case you will have to remove all of the items that are in the old standard size or sell through them. Once the newer packaging is ready send the item in and request a re-measurement. This should update it within the system.
Best,
Dominic
Hello. - Hi.
Now FBA warehouse is sold out of standard size items.
So that I can use this FNSKU to send to FBA warehouse according to the new package?
But when I created the shipment I was prompted that the box can't be more than 25in, so I can't provide the correct box size to the FBA warehouse, and now I'm in this situation
Package being used (standard size): 38 x 31 x 9.7 in
Updated packaging dimensions (large item): 44 x 4 x 0.03 in
Looking forward to your reply
Sincerely
