Increase sales and improve customer trust with Transparency

Are you a brand owner interested in further improving your trust with customers? Transparency might be just what your brand needs to help you take the next step.

In a recent study, enrolled brands saw a 5-10% increase in sales* after protecting their products with Transparency.

What is Transparency?

Transparency is a product serialization service that uses secure, unique codes that identify individual units. These codes help prevent counterfeits from reaching customers, improve customer engagement, and offers brands valuable insights to help optimize supply chains.

Transparency also helps prevent customers from receiving products with differences in color, materials, or language. It can also protect against regulatory compliance and compatibility issues. All of these effects can help improve customer reviews, increase customer trust, and even boost sales!

What are the benefits?

There are many benefits, but to name a few...

  • Verify product authenticity: Ensure that only authentic units are shipped to customers. Whether fulfilled by Amazon or shipped directly by selling partners, products cannot be listed on Amazon or shipped without valid Transparency codes.
  • Engage with customers: Connect with customers post-purchase, no matter where they bought your product. The Amazon Shopping app and the Transparency app both allow customers to scan Transparency codes to confirm authenticity and access content you provide.
  • Optimize your supply chain: Gain additional insights on your items at the batch or lot level, helping you identify supply chain or other issues, diagnose their root cause, implement solutions, and improve products with minimal disruption to your business.

To be eligible, you must...

  • Enroll in Brand Registry with a government-registered trademark. If your brand is not yet enrolled in Brand Registry, you can get started here.
  • Have a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) for your product.
  • Have the ability to apply unique Transparency codes on every unit you manufacture, regardless of where the units are sold.

To learn more about how Transparency works, how to get started, or anything else, submit a request from the Transparency page.

* These results were obtained from a study that compared the average sales performance of over 15,000 products that were enrolled for at least one year in Transparency in North America against comparable products that were not enrolled. Individual results may vary.

Hello, I apply for transparency several weeks ago, but still no feedback yet.

Could you please help to check when be able to feedback to us? Several sellers sell products base on our listing, they sell them with very low price, we're pretty sure they are selling fake with low price. They drive us crazy, that why we apply for transparency. Appreciate your feedback.

Sandy_Amazon, how does a seller go about reporting a brand for abusing the Transparency program? Specifically, they are only applying the Transparency codes to the units that THEY are sending into Amazon for FBA. Bullet point 3 on the "Introduction to Transparency" specifically states "Have the ability to apply unique Transparency codes on every unit you manufacture, regardless of where the units are sold."

I have opened several cases with Seller Support and they keep closing them. They are misreading the case (they think we are trying to force the brand to sell to us, but we are ALREADY fully authorized-that has nothing to do with the abuse complaint).
