Shipping label refund rejected by Amazon because label is in the mainstream... but it is not.

Amazon said USPS has rejected the postage refund you requested for order 114-4760320-5151419 on 10/26/24 for the following reason: The item is in the mailstream, but it is not used.
I cannot get a refund from USPS because I did not ship out this item, the buyer cancelled it and I cancelled the label ONE MONTH AGO and I got a response that the label was rejected today.

Had the same problem yesterday. Amazon continues to fail to remove canceled labels from the end of day scan sheet. SS is being useless (Case ID 16925036301).

So, the procedure for resolving this is to open cases with SS?
Not using the scan form is not an option for us. Post office will not accept our packages without one.
