Brand name has been changed (hijacked) on 4 listings I sell…Need help please!

Someone changed or hijacked the brand name of 4 listings that I sell! I was the one who created the listing back in 2019 and 2022 with the brand name Blossom Bucket. All of the listing details, such as bullet points, title, and description, manufacturer state that this is a Blossom Bucket branded product, so how could this happen?

I found out about it because I received 4 “Trademark misuse(Blossom Bucket)” violations on 3/28/25. When I tried to edit and correct the problem on the violation page I saw that the brand name had been changed to some weird and irrelevant brand name, LUPSTY, despite all the details in the listing still corresponding to the correct brand of Blossom Bucket. Of course the brand name is locked with LUPSTY and my only option on the page is to erase Blossom Bucket and change it to the hijacked brand name and save it.

Shouldn’t Amazon be able to see internally that the original brand was Blossom Bucket and that all the listing details belong to the brand Blossom Bucket? And how could anyone just change a listing I originally created in Seller Central, which should have the brand name locked just like it is for me!! I’ve been reading many other posts about this happening so It’s a common occurrence, it’s just never happened to my listings before.

The listings will close 3/30/25 if I don’t edit them and update to the hijacked brand name, which I obviously don’t want to do!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

No, if you did NOT use a UPC from GS1 when CREATING the listing Amazon doesn't see it.

Btw. I hope your store name is not the same like your forum name, otherwise you will soon have a bigger problem....

Good Afternoon @Seller_RXeyqBFzcsrBv,

I took a look at your CASE ID you share with us. There is actually a few more steps we are requesting sellers to take regarding unexpected brand name changes. My colleague @Sandy_Amazon, has shared these steps -->HERE<--

  1. Submit a report through the "Report Abuse" feature
  2. Select "Product detail page was changed to represent a different product"
  3. We suggest sellers to provide relevant details such as when the ASIN was created, by whom, and what the brand name was originally.
  4. If your report is declined, please don't hesitate to create a discussion post in the "Manage Your Brand" category and be sure to include your complaint ID for faster follow-up.

Hope the steps above help get your listing updated and back to its original state. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
