Read only10 years old amazon account got deactivated in violation of restricted product policy.
The product doesn’t require FDA approvals or certifications. But some of the wording could have resulted in the violation. That product was 0.001% of my business and unfortunately it turned everything upside down. Deleted and discontinued that product forever and removed all inventory from FBA.
Here’s the performance notification I received;
We reached this decision because you listed products that are not permitted for sale on Amazon.com and failed to submit evidence or documentation demonstrating that your account has not violated our "Restricted Products" policy. If you have questions about this policy, go to "Restricted Products":
How to move forward with such a violation and appeal for it?
Any relevant information would be appreciated.
TIA
Hello @Seller_1zGumFMlDzUcQ,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a restricted product policy violation that resulted in the accounts deactivation.
So you are aware when there's an account deactivation surrounding restricted products, there is no appeal path, only a dispute path.
This means that we will only accept supporting evidence that your product at no point violated our policy. We in these situations cannot accept a plan of action or explanation of corrections and compliance moving forward.
If there was phrasing or attributes that violated this policy, the account may not be eligible for reactivation.
As noted above, the only thing we can accept in these situations is documentation or supporting evidence that shows your product complied with our policy and that the deactivation was in error.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
