🚨 Amazon LOST My Inventory, SOLD It, and Now I’m Getting LEGAL Notices! 🚨

Hello fellow sellers,

I am facing a critical issue with Amazon’s fulfillment process, and I desperately need help, advice, and support from the seller community.

Amazon lost 82 units of my inventory, sold them, and now refuses to reimburse me—despite clear proof that they received them. To make matters worse, I took out a loan to fund this inventory, and now I am receiving legal notices for missed payments because Amazon is refusing to take responsibility.

📦 Shipment & ASIN Details:

📑 Case ID: 16914769221

🏷 FNSKU: X004EAJ1Z3

🛒 ASIN: B0DH4WW8JS

❌ Total Missing Units: 82

What Happened?

Amazon is claiming that these units were "unexpected" in my shipment plan, but this is completely false.

✅ My shipping plan clearly included these units—Amazon’s own support agents have confirmed this.

✅ The inventory was checked in, processed, and even made available for sale.

✅ Prime orders were placed and shipped from this inventory.

Yet, after 75+ days of fighting, Amazon keeps closing my case without a resolution.

Why This is a HUGE Problem for Sellers

This is not just a mistake—it is a serious failure of Amazon’s fulfillment process. If Amazon can lose inventory, sell it, and then refuse to compensate sellers, what protection do we have?

I have already:

➡️ Opened multiple cases with Seller Support (they keep closing them).

➡️ Provided all necessary evidence (shipment plan, tracking, proof of check-in, proof of sales).

➡️ Escalated to higher support tiers (still no resolution).

Now, because of Amazon’s mistake, I am facing legal action for missed loan payments.

🚨 CALL TO ACTION: I NEED HELP FROM SELLERS!

I need as many sellers as possible to upvote, comment, and respond to this post so Amazon takes this seriously. If you've experienced a similar issue, please share your story here.

Sellers, we must stand together—this could happen to anyone. If Amazon gets away with this, we are all at risk of financial loss.

📢 Please upvote, comment, and tag moderators so we can get this issue escalated!

Thank you all in advance for your support.

We are also experiencing this same issue. Our last shipment, we sent 90 units of one product and they claimed we sent ZERO. How has a whole pallet gone missing?? We send the proof they request and our claim gets denied. This has been going on for MONTHS with multiple shipments and no solutions.

How come we never hear about these issues on the "FB ads, let us help you launch and Amazon store"

Unfortunately, Amazon has a long history of hurting the sellers. If your in the business here, know all the Policy's, follow them exactly and always have cash on hand cause your going to need it. It not a matter of if, its a matter of when. We are messed with pretty regularly, its the cost of doing business on Amazon. I became a lot happy once I accepted and roll with the punches.

Always set FBA lost inventory or returned inventory to be returned to you, not destroyed. Otherwise, They will sell it, someone will end up with it and you could face legal issues.

Also have an attorney. Check out Seller basics for a low monthly rate to help with all kinds of Amazon violation stuff. Not your issue however.

With that said, Selling on Amazon is not easy nor for the faint of heart. Best of luck.

Years ago I had another Seller say you have to look at this as Retail Theft. Is it right, of course not. Its going to happen though. Amazon loses some of our inventory in EVERY I mean EVERY shipment. Lately we have been successful in getting reimbursement.

We send in the manufacture invoice, highlight the product. We type in the manufactures webpage for the product on the invoice. If we buy in bulk and break in down into smaller items we explain this with calculations to show Seller Support. Not sure if any of this will help.

Please stop using FBA. Let's be honest Amazon has 10's of Billions of dollars tied up in warehouses and staffing. Time and time again they skew the rules to benefit their ineptness. Guess what happens if we don't accept these arbitrary rules? That's right they would have millions upon millions of square feet they're not soaking FBA sellers with those fees. Just like we vote with our pocketbooks when we shop the same is true with how we choose to run our businesses. SO PLEASE STOP ACCEPTING THEIR FBA RULES. DO NOT USE FBA!
