Ive NEVER seen it this bad
this is bad
im done
next year I wont be here
anyone else?
I have seen a drop in sales also after the 15th as well as a drop in the feature offer down over 10%, but what I can't get an answer on is how in the world can Amazon say I had absolutely 0 in sales November 1- November 6 but if I check sales snapshot for those same days I had over 8,000$ in sales. I contact Amazon open a case and they give me the standard- we sent a payment for that period on such and such day please check with your bank. I call and only get someone who can't speak English well enough to understand. Anyone else see a zero in sales the beginning of November when they did away with the reserve accounts and started the delayed payments? We have sold on Amazon since 2018 and never had a zero in sales day.
Down 26% for the year. High Inflation and economy hasn't helped. An election year is also usually lower compared to non-election years.
Nope. Doubled my best month ever this month. It has been crazy busy.
I'm down 30% from last year, and the switch they did (and when right around Thanksgiving) holding money in deferred transfers before being able to cash out really hurt my cash flow for new inventory to start the New Year off with. Amazon has been a constant let down in the year 2024.
My sales are typically slower this time of year. I'm still getting sales. My sales are somewhat slower since Amazon is now telling buyers that orders will take much long to ship than they actually take, however.
Thanks for creating this thread to check in with fellow sellers on sales trends, @Seller_xKnYF1sB3jmtJ.
I will ask that all commenters be sure their comments do not depart from our Community Guidelines, which do prohibit:
"Political commentary, including opinions and statements about political candidates, parties, and policies. This content is not considered relevant to selling in Amazon’s store."
That said, if any commenters in this thread do find some spare time over the holiday season, it is a great time to plan ahead, to help boost sales in the new year!

Hi Danny. Could you please help me out on my thread, “"Other" fees increased from around $20 to $972 within 10 days. What are "other" fees?
I believe the “other” fees are all $22.90 “adjustments” ups made to all my ups shipments but I do not know why. I do not believe it could be for a dimension or from weight, I pad the weight to make sure I’m under what I purchase. I have shipped this same box for several years but since December 8th I have almost $1000 in ups “adjustments”.
Where can I find why they were adjusted so I can fix the issue? @Danny_Amazon
Hello @Seller_32ZMm9zfeBF6v- thanks for chiming in, though this thread is focused on recent sales trends, and our Community Guidelines do look to prohibit the posting of the same issue across multiple threads.
Our team should be along to assist in your thread as available, but please know times are somewhat elongated by the holiday season, and different teams may not be able to get to all threads as quick as we'd like.
If you are facing carrier adjustment fees, please see this page for additional context. It may also be prudent to create a case with support teams for more personalized troubleshooting.
Best regards,
Danny
Thank you @Danny_Amazon. I used the page you linked too to originally find why I had so many adjustment fees but the pages you linked to do not tell you why the adjustments were made. I have a lot of orders I need to ship and I can’t afford to keep getting these adjustment fees of $22.90 for every package.
I tried opening a case with seller support, case #16926169261. They said they can’t look into it yet. I just need a link to where I can find why they were adjusted. I do not believe it’s weight or dimensions. If it is, it’s very petty.
I have used these boxes for several years with no problem. My boxes are 9x9x6 and weigh 8-12 oz. I purchase labels for 9x9x6 and 15oz.
I really do believe that Amazon simply doesn't have the user base that it once had - other than just prior to Christmas. We've been on Amazon more than half a decade and the overall impressions and page/product view numbers (both natural and thru ads) are sooooo much lower today - throughout many product types.
With competing sites like Temu, Aliexpress, Walmart dot com, and other discount sites, I believe the customers are going elsewhere. I also think that explains Amazon's crazy amount of new random Seller fees they have tact on over the last 2 years. In order to keep hitting their Amazon revenue numbers, they have to pull profit from Sellers to cover the customer loss.
I primarily sell FBM.
I have sold essentially the same items for several years. Very little difference from month to month and year to year.
My 2024 was about the same as 2023 and 2022, 21 and 20 November.
My 2024 Dec 01-10 was about the same as 2023 and 2022.
Then on DEC 11 it all stopped, Dec 11 - 30 is down 70% from last year.
Christmas was a bloodbath for no apparent reason and all Amazon can tell me is to advertise more or use FBA. Zero interest in helping or diagnosing.
It was devastating and Amazon could care less about this 11+ year seller.
Performance metrics ALL are very good. No reason for the drop off the cliff.
100%. Never had such poor sales. No rhyme or reason, because the same product that sells 50+ times per day, the next day sells 0. Someone is messing with the algorithms big time, yet Amazon won't fess up.
Sales have been fantastic for quite a while. I've been using the Shipping Setting Automation. Pretty much a game changer for my business. @Seller_xKnYF1sB3jmtJany update on your sales?
