Can someone please help me understand.

discussion.

Since I can't find the answer to my question in the posts on the forum I thought I'd ask here in hopes of finding help. I'm trying to figure out if the handling time field in the listing overrides the auto handling if I turn it on? Meaning, if I have this listing set to 3 days do I have three days to ship or will I have to ship in the auto handling time of 1 day?

Here's my issue, I'd like to offer standard shipping but the most time allowed is 4 days and thats often not enough time to use ground advantage. So I thought I could use the extra handling times for transit. Does this make semse?

Auto HT rules them all.

If you turn AHT on, or if Amazon forces it upon you (which they do if you ship 2 or more days sooner than your stated handling time), then AHT is the boss.

NOTE In general, you are better off looking at the regular Seller Central forum for topics like this, as this isn't specific to Handmade, and the Handmade forum gets a lot less traffic/response.
