We live in San Diego, an area that may have us losing power and cell reception, not to mention the high risk of having to evacuate. We set to Vacation 2 days back to avoid a METRIC DING by not being able to ship USPS 01/09/2025. Three days ago we were ( wrongly) given a negative ding to our Metric for cancellation of an order, setting us at 2.17% - So we go on vacation, which means we do not have any more orders to offset this percentage and once we hit 2.5% well, Amazon says we could be subject to deactivation. Would like some insight on how being on vacation is going play out in our case. Not once, and we have been here so long can't remember, have we ever been de-activated - don't want to experience it. But now with the fires looming think we should stay on VACATION? Looking for someone who (If there is such a person) understands the metrics system who can give some sound advice. Thank You

if there are any risks that you cannot ship out an order on time, you need to stay in vacation mode. As long as there is no other defect, the one you got should not get you suspended. Of course this is Amazon and they don't follow their own playbook, but you SHOULD be ok,
