With Prime Day 2024 not too far away, it’s important to understand how to submit Deals for events, and how to stay on top of your upcoming deals to take any necessary action!

To submit a Deal:

1. On the Deals dashboard, check Upcoming Events to see the events that are open for Deals submissions. Events include Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and others.
2. Select the desired event in the Schedule box as part of the Deal. You can submit Deals for multiple event and non-event weeks.

Then, continue monitoring your Upcoming Deals as we approach the event to ensure they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.

If any scheduled deals become suppressed, you will need to take action to update the deal appropriately via the ‘Needs Attention’ section of the Deals Dashboard.

One best practice is to avoid making changes to ASINs, particularly for Deals in Upcoming status, including:

• Pricing Edits: If you lower the price on a participating ASIN(s), you may also be required to lower the Deal price for the same ASIN(s) to avoid Deal suppression.
• Delete or Close Listings: Do not change the status of any ASIN(s) participating in Deals to Closed within the Manage Inventory page. Doing so will cancel any Deal currently scheduled for that ASIN. Canceled Deals cannot be reactivated.
• Create new child ASINs: For Deals that include variations, avoid creating or assigning new child ASINs to the variation family after the Deal has been submitted. Doing so will result in the existing Deal to revalidate with the new child ASINs which will cause the Deal to become suppressed or canceled.

Deals for this event may be submitted through March 17, 2025.

To submit your deals, follow these steps:

1. Go to Advertising, and select Deals.
2. Click Create a new deal.
3. Choose an eligible ASIN, and click Select.
4. Select Big Spring Sale, and click Continue to next step.
5. Configure your deal details, and click Submit deal.

Prime-exclusive discounts

Prime-exclusive discounts for this event may be submitted through March 31, 2025.

To submit your Prime-exclusive discounts, follow these steps:

1. Go to Advertising, and select Price Discounts.
2. Click Create a price discount.
3. Complete the form. From the Events drop-down menu, select Big Spring Sale. To create a discount that is exclusive to Prime customers, select Prime customers as the Audience type.
4. Click Step 2: Add products, and complete the workflow.

Hello Amazon sellers!

The Big Spring Sales event is fast approaching! Remember to get deals submitted before March 17th to be eligible for consideration.

To access Deal creation, navigate to the Deals Dashboard under the Advertising tab in Seller Central, and select Create a New Deal. Then check Upcoming Events to submit a Deal specific to the Big Spring Sale. For further guidance, see: Deals during events.

As Outlet Deals will be a special focus of this event, be sure to review the Outlet Deal creation steps for FBA inventory as well!

Before submitting, be sure to review eligibility specifics, and know any one deal can’t be guaranteed to run during an event. After submitting, monitor your deals through the Deal Dashboard in case any action becomes necessary, and keep in mind the best practices of setting competitive discounts, confirming inventory requirements, and reviewing price history.
