Read onlyGood evening,
I started asking for Amazon Seller Support assistance since my product was removed because it was 'categorised as a skin whitening/lightening product'
At first I was getting response that my appeal was rejected (a couple of times), but after submitting some documents and asking some questions for my next steps, I suddenly stopped getting responses from them.
My CASE ID's
17284773181
17337019611
17338219331
17484744091
17483711681
17518611961
17526340871
The urgency is because while my case is tagged 'Work in Progress' I received an email that the product in question is going to be disposed if I don't request for a removal of my ASIN.

Apparently, seller support is receiving a high volume of cases, which is causing a backlog.
I've always received responses to my cases within 24 hours for years, but one of my cases has not received a response in over 2 weeks besides an automated message saying "we're experiencing a high volume".
Hi @Seller_QbCU41jscqZul,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you feel your item is not a skin lighting agent and therefore, should be reinstated as you have updated the detail page to remove information that may be restricted.
Please know that per this policy, 'You may not update detail pages to repeatedly add and remove prohibited claims as identified in Amazon’s Prohibited product claims. Customers who are identified to repeatedly add and remove prohibited claims to circumvent this policy may be subjected to corrective actions, including but not limited to the immediate termination of selling privileges.'
Per the help page:
Skin-lightening products covered by this policy
Skin-lightening products include, but are not limited to, bleaching creams, whiteners, skin brighteners, and fading creams. The products are usually marketed as skin lighteners and anti-aging treatments that remove age spots, freckles, blemishes, and wrinkles.
As your product falls into this category, you will need to submit the testing information requested in Case: 17284773181 and that I have also provided below.
To continue listing the product, please take the following action:
To ensure that your product is not removed from Amazon's [US] store, you require a test result that confirms your product’s compliance with Amazon's Policy. Please initiate a test request for each product to one of the third-party Testing, Inspection, and Certification organizations through Manage Your Compliance dashboard by following the steps below:
1. Go to the Performance tab and select Account Health.
2. Under Manage your compliance in the bottom right-hand corner, click Product compliance requests.
3. Click Add or appeal compliance for the product you’re taking action on, and select Request lab service.
4. Select Skin Lightening cosmetics as the issue.
5. Under Source/Factory location, enter the source location of your product.
6. Under Lab, select the Amazon-approved third-party Testing, Inspection, and Certification organization of your choosing to conduct testing.
Once testing is requested, please work with the chosen source to provide all requested information to complete testing of your product. Once a test result confirming compliance with Amazon policy is provided by the third-party, Testing, Inspection, and Certification organization to Amazon, your product will be eligible for sale on Amazon's US store and no further action is needed.
I would also recommend that you resolve all of your open cases that you have created on this issue and only reply through 17284773181 or appeal through the process above. Do not continue to create cases to Seller Support as they are not able to reinstate your listings, only Product Compliance can and it must be done through the process below. Creating multiple cases for the same issue is against policy and can lead to your ability to create cases removed, so you need to close out all the cases on this issue and work through the process provided below.
If you need assistance after you have submitted the testing documents that are required and your appeal case is greater than 15 business days old, please create a new discussion and provide the case ID and we will be happy to take a look.
I hope this information is helpful!
Regards,
Michelle
