Request for Clarification on Account Deactivation
Subject: Request for Clarification on Account Deactivation
Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek clarification regarding the recent deactivation of my seller account, [Your Seller Account Name or ID].
Unfortunately, I received notification that my account was deactivated, but I have not been provided with specific details or reasons for this action. I am deeply concerned and eager to understand the circumstances that led to the deactivation so that I can address them appropriately.
I am fully committed to adhering to all Amazon policies and guidelines, and I am dedicated to providing a positive experience for customers on your platform. However, without clear information about the reasons for the deactivation, I am unable to take corrective measures or prevent similar issues in the future.
I kindly request your assistance in providing detailed information regarding the specific reasons for the deactivation of my account. Additionally, if there are any steps I need to take to resolve the issue and reactivate my account, please outline them clearly so that I can take immediate action.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this issue.
Sincerely,

Hello there, my name is CR and I wanted to hop in here.
Please note, the forum is not a spot to submit appeals to account deactivations. I had a chance to peek into your account and see that you received a performance notification yesterday, 4/23/24 outlining the reason for your account deactivation.
I do also see that you have appealed this decision with the same comment you provided above and that this is currently under review.
Unfortunately, I will not have anything further to share here on my end, but please do continue to monitor your performance notifications for updates here.

Your Amazon.com seller account has been deactivated, and your listings have been removed. Ship any open orders to avoid further impact on your account.
Why is this happening?
We were unable to verify information related to your seller account or did not receive any new information regarding your listings or selling history.

Now I'm not understanding what I did when everything is at zero? In which policy violation did I avoid?

If Amazon wanted to deactivate my account, why didn't they do it when I hadn't bought inventory or sent it to FBA? Why deactivate it now when I've invested a heavy amount in inventory, etc.? Does Amazon suddenly remember policies now? Why doesn't Amazon clarify if I violated any policy?

You will receive no help here unless you state why your selling account was deactivated. Without knowing that, it will stay deactivated.

Amazon will never clarify anything for you; whatever they're willing to tell you was already stated in the Performance Notification they sent, including the steps you need to take. No further details will be provided.
Amazon is intentionally vague; they expect you to know their policies and follow them. From the notification, you are expected to know what you did that went against policy and provide them with a plan to correct the infraction and prevent it from reoccurring moving forward.
As stated by another poster, you'll need to post the notification if you want anyone here to offer advice.

According to the above, Amazon couldn't verify the information you provided.
Has your account ever been active? If not, this is probably referring to the seller verification documents you sent. If you were selling and then were deactivated, it may be referring to invoices or supply chain documents.
