Read onlyHello,
My account has had monthly sales of less than $10,000, and in fact, it's been at $0 for nearly a year. My selling privileges were suspended in August 2023, and I am still in the process of appealing this decision.
I recently received an email from Amazon stating that I need to upload a new certificate of insurance within 30 days. Given that my account is currently suspended and not generating any sales, do I still need to renew my insurance?
Below is the content of the email from Amazon:
"Thank you for insuring the products you sell on Amazon with commercial liability insurance. According to our records, your policy has expired or is about to expire. To comply with the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement, please upload a new certificate of insurance within 30 days of receiving this email.
Why am I receiving this email? Your commercial liability insurance has expired or will expire within the next 30 days. The Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement stipulates that if your total sales revenue on the Amazon marketplace exceeds $10,000 in a month, or as otherwise required by Amazon, you must maintain current commercial insurance coverage and submit proof within 30 days of receiving a verification request."
I would appreciate any guidance on whether the insurance needs to be renewed given my current account status.
I would deeply appreciate your help with this. Thank you so much. @Quincy_Amazon @Micah_Amazon@Cooper_Amazon@Steve_Amazon

Hello there, my name is CR and wanted to hop in here to see if I can provide you with some information.
Your situation is a bit unique and I'd first suggest that you reach out to Seller Support to get specific guidance for your situation.
However, as soon as you hit $10,000 in sales/month you must maintain current commercial insurance coverage, regardless if future months do not hit the $10,000 threshold.
Hope this helps!
