we are trying to request PRL exemption as our return labels are hit with insane over fee's on UPS, but we have a contract with UPS and FEDEX that eliminates overages..

Every time i upload the template correctly, it stays active for a day, then i request the report and the PRL file is empty the next day.. and then we get a return today and of course UPS charged us 40$ for a return label that i can buy from FEDEX for 15$... this has to end.

WE have a returnless resolution template uploaded for our samples, and that is working.. but the big issue is the PRL exemption, we have the capability and the need authorize all returns and issue our own label.. this worked for maybe 1 day and now back to amazon giving away free money to customers. we are not enrolled in amazon customer service... can you please look at our return settings.. we have it set for us to provide our own RMA #, and to provide a NON paid label to customer.. the area where i can upload a label is not there anymore..

Why is the return shipping so expensive? You can't tell me that Amazon doesn't have a negotiated rate through UPS. We have one that is by no means great, but it is better prices than what Amazon is charging. Is this how Amazon is making a lot of their money is by charging us sellers extra for our return labels?

Is there any way to process returns by using our own return labels. It sure would save us a lot of money. And if so then how do we calculate what the size of the return package is along with the weight if the buyer happens to package in another box?

We have a few large products that we seller fulfill on Amazon. When a return is requested we are wanting an opportunity to provide the customer with a seller provided prepaid return label vs the auto generated buy shipping label Amazon issues. We have submitted for SKU prepaid exemption and it will be active for a while and then the exemption will drop off. I have two questions I hope someone has come up across and have found a solution.

* How can we upload a seller provided prepaid return label if Amazon has already issued a label? We have contacted the customer and requested they use our return label, not the Amazon provided one. The reason we want to provide our own label as our UPS pricing on these large items is much better than what buy shipping costs.

* Second, does anyone have any recommendations on how to get a SKU Prepaid Exemption to stick? Our 4 ASIN's are well over the $100 limit and are very large. I have submitted multiple times and are still having this issue.
