We have launched the Returns Performance dashboard, which helps you monitor your returns performance and proactively address issues for returns that you manage manually.
The Return Performance dashboard focuses on three key returns performance metrics:
Each performance metric contains details for the following areas:
We also launched the Returns Analysis page, which helps you to identify and take action on any product listings that experience return issues.
Lastly, you can access a pop-up window within the Manage Returns page to view a summary of your returns performance metrics.
For more information, go to the Return Performance dashboard page.

Return Requests Declined : Target = under 2%
Where did this come from? Out of thin air? The link to view policies does not mention this anywhere. Assuming we are even allowed to decline a return request most likely means it was out of timeframe to begin with. So, why even put this arbitrary target?
This page is POORLY formatted: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/returns/return-performance
I can even read it without glasses …
if having buyer faulted return reasons or buyer changing their mind about keeping the item you sold them here on Amazon is reason to not meet the return metric and get removed off Amazon, no one seller would be left to still have an active account. There is crazy and then there is crrazzzyyy. But seems like you thought this all out first already, so it is sound from from your end. Right?
Issues with this announcement:
No link to the page in question. There’s a link to the FAQ, which doesn’t link to the page. There is no obvious place to link to this page directly: it’s a performance report about returns, but I don’t see a menu item under Performance or Reports or a Returns menu item. Under reports there is a “return reports” but that’s not this, nor does it provide a link here. The only way I can see to get here is via the manage returns page.
Attempts to navigate away from this page put up a “are you sure you want to leave this page?” dialog indicating that it’s embedded within FORM tags, and touching the page appears to create a form edit. This is HTML 101.
This sounds like another case of “yeah, this metric was rushed, and may have issues, but we won’t penalize you for our logic flaws until later, and but we aren’t ever going to read 3PS comments here to decide what needs fixing. If it results in our customers getting more of your money through our failures, they aren’t failures.”
Where is this located? The link just goes to more information, but we cannot find the actual metric. Also, Amazon is declining returns, but won’t allow for us to set our return policy since they’re auto-authorizing everything. Can someone please help with setting that option or is it “up a creek without a paddle” type situation?
Amazon, are you planning to add Customer scams dashboard too?
I don’t expect Amazon to listen to us ever… but going to make a comment anyways.
Amazon should allow sellers to close any return after the 30 (or 90 ) day return period expires. That forced pre-approved Amazon label should not be allowable to use once times up.
This really makes no sense — Amz already Auto approves & its up to us to file safeT claim —
The list of reasons for non returnable items is not complete so for things I can close - I have to choose an incorrect reason…
Getting REALLY tired of more BS on a regular basis!
how bout doing a return peformance for Buyers and remove them after a few scams done to Sellers to stop their habit
How do i NOT approve returns when Amazon auto-authorizes all returns?
This Performance Dashboard might have worked a year ago. Nobody told Amazon their policies had changed recently?
