customer filed a refund and now decided to keep item but amazon automated the refund. What do I do?

I sold a book on amazon.com. customer file for return and decided to keep it. refunded amount was automatically processed by amazon. Which I don't understand why? So how do I get my money?

I also have another customer on amazon.com file for a refund but I did not get my book back? and they were also automatically refunded? I'm confused with amazon system. Whats upsetting about this customer the reason for refund was "done using it, and dont need it anymore" how rude.

How do I claim my money back for these two orders? I was told by online support to wait for 30 days to file through Safe T claim. Is this correct? currently I'm getting message when i try to file a claim: This order is not eligible for SAFE-T claim. Only Seller Fulfilled Prime orders, MFN Prepaid Return Label orders, Easy Ship orders and VAS orders, are eligible for SAFE-T claims. Please refer to Amazon SAFE-T Claim Policy for more details

Please help. I've put my account on vacation mode, for almost a month now because I'm afraid of getting more of these refunds at my own expense.

No. The return address is set to my canadian address.

If you do not have a USA return address you have to provide a prepaid return label.

If the label is not used then the refund can be reversed.

Note: this info may be out of date

There are crossborder shipping companies that rent USA mailboxes. to handle returns.

Pirateship is one company that can provide USPS labels for USA to Canada shipments.

For the customer who wanted to return. I recall going through the process for return label but when when I hit submit it shows already completed? it was already done by amazon or something. not exactly sure...

What do I do about the order where the customer decided to keep the item after filing for refund? The customer message me and told me they decided to keep it.

@Daryl_Amazon can you please assist me with my current issue. I tried online chat was told to use Safe T claim after 30 days and for email support they couldn't properly assist me and gave me irrevelant info. These are not pending or cancelled orders but refunded orders:

Check that the order is not in **Pending** or **Cancelled** status as the buyer information does not appear for an order in these statuses. On the Manage Orders page, click the buyer’s name in the Order Details column to open the Contact Buyer page. Amazon does not block messages if they are necessary for completing an order. check your USA return address what is is put as, Amazon USA does automatic returns, provides pre paid shipping label for customers to return to USA address, If you have Canadian Address, chances they wont get a return label to ship it back to Canada.

Amazon USA changed long long time ago, that seller is not in control if they accept returns or not, they automatically do that on your behalf. However, we know that once the parcel gets delivered and amazon checks the tracking # it was delivered to USA return address, they refund it. We haven't had issue, that if tracking # show no delivery they still issued refund.
