Selling in UAE and KSA from a U.S.-based Amazon Account
Hello everyone,
I am looking to expand my Amazon business from my Amazon US, to the UAE and KSA. I’ve read that, technically, it’s possible to sell in these regions via Amazon’s Global Selling Program. However, I also understand that there may be specific documentation and requirements from both countries to do so.
I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate any insights from sellers with experience in the UAE and KSA markets:
Steps for Registration: If anyone here is selling in these countries through their U.S. Amazon seller account, could you share the steps involved? Specifically, what’s required to register a business or fulfill other requirements to get started?
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA): I’ve read that for FBA, sellers may need to partner with agencies within the UAE and KSA for fulfillment to Amazon warehouses. For those experienced with FBA in these regions, could you shed some light on how to connect with reliable, registered agencies and any challenges faced?
Banking Requirements: Do these markets require sellers to open local bank accounts, or is it feasible to operate with a U.S.-based bank account?
Overall Costs and Setup Process: Could anyone outline the approximate costs and steps needed to establish a seller account and begin selling in these markets?
Print-on-Demand: Lastly, is it possible to offer print-on-demand products globally through Seller Central, including in the UAE and KSA?
Thank you in advance for your help
