Buyer purchased an item. Returned back a different serial number item. We charged a 50% restocking fee and he immediately left negative feedback. He admitted sending back the wrong item in our messages to him. Amazon says they can't remove the feedback. How is intentional fraud allowed and then proceeding to jeopardize our selling on Amazon with negative feedback?
Experienced this exact same scenario - our buyer even put the protective plastic onto the item they swapped into the original box, then tried reseal the exterior cellophane - immeditaley noticed their poor attempt at resealing and opened it up to find a heavily used and broken unit placed inside - serial number didn't match.
100% restocking fee - buyer attempted to do a chargeback (failed) - tried to get us to send their broken unit back without first getting the original unit back (buyer must return original unit and provide the seller with a prepaid label in this scenario, also failed) - didn't open an A to Z (likely have that privilege removed from their account for past fraud) - then left a negative review full of libel on our profile - Multiple mods said the internal teams decided to not remove it.
Moral of the story - Amazon allows fraudsters to do as they please, even if it damages a good seller's reputation
