Read onlyJust venting - nothing you haven't seen yourself if you do FBA
I got an FBA return from a buyer who honestly stated her case: "I accidentally ordered the wrong item"
The customer returned the item in perfect condition. The contents of the box look like they were never touched. Does it go back into inventory? Of course not! It is returned to me with all the attendant fees and charges.
Packing slip says "damaged". Obviously no inspection was ever made. Apparently the same people responsible for determining this perfect product is damaged are the same ones who approve sending empty packages to other buyers.
Since my item arrived back in otherwise perfect condition, can I resell it as "new"? OF COURSE NOT. They plastered the product box with 3 Amazon stickers.
And, thanks to another wonderful new policy, because I only sell a few of this item each month, I'm blessed with the new excessive returns surcharge.
I'm sorry for you if you're a seller who is entrenched as I am. I am only able to slowly back away from this horror. If you are a new seller or planning to be, please take seriously the warnings you see in these forums. Selling here will not make your life better.
Hi @Seller_fES06yRlGgMc4,
I wanted to chime in here and thank you for sharing your experience. I'm just now coming across this thread, I apologize that I didn't check in with you sooner.
While I do not have insights into why exactly this happened with your item, I did want to apologize for the frustration this has caused. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance with this situation, please let me know!
All the best,
Jameson
