I just want to save anyone who is considering AWD the trouble and tell them its not worth the trouble or issues you will have. We have half of our inventory stuck in "receiving" for several weeks without any indication of when it may be located. There are no lines of communication with AWD...think Seller Support but even worse because they don't even have a nominal amount of knowledge on the subject. We're being told it will take 90 before they can "investigate" after the shipment is closed. After that it could take another 90 days before anything is resolved. Effectively 180 days before they might be able to find our inventory. Go to another 3PL service if you are running into FBA limits. Do not use AWD, don't risk it. You could lose your entire business just to save a couple bucks. We also had issues with our carrier being able to set an appointment time to deliver goods, this cost us more money to have the inventory sit at a warehouse until they could set the appointment. Now the inventory is in AWD, but the auto replenishment is not working. It's honestly the worst experience ever. Worse than trying to get help from Seller Support.
Agree ,
Our first shipment arrived and it took over 15 days for autoship to start . we had to manually started
for our Second shipment they received only 2 pallets out of 5
we tried opening a case for 3 missing pallets and the system does not recognized shipmen IDs that start with STAR
the Label format suck so bad too . we need thermal
the shipments receipts and transfer report are terrible
we get billed transfer fees weekly but we do not have access to reports until the end of the month
Hello @Seller_OjdlVnTxmble7. I am in touch with members of the AWD team and they are interested in learning more about the issues you are having.
Can you please let me know the Case ID or other details that will help me move this forward? What was the received date of the shipment?
Sorry to hear that
and thanks for sharing that with us
I was thinking to move there to save some bucks but i recently found that there is hidden fees like transportation fees from AWD to FBA = 1$ per cf which will end up = to the placement fees or more
Storage fees there yes lower a bit than FBA but 3x higher than 3rd party warehouses out there
Yes Low inv fees & surcharge fees waived only for AWD skus but there is AWD processing fees per box
And AWD i think is handled but another companies other than Amazon
So yes it's not worth it , the bad news w're still trapped in the Amazon Fees Grid (Placement , storage , surcharge , longterm storage fees ,ppc , referral , FBA ,low inv fees , limits )
Another tough year , the last survivors here are heros
Good luck to you and all of us
Amazon needs help from the DOJ.
If amazon created it stay away. The only thing amazon is consistent with it is making money for amazon.
A good reason why they do accept grocery or anything with an expiration date. They want me to send in like 186 5lb bags of my product. AWD does not accept grocery and to expensive to send into FBA, Before they received around $12.42 in fee for each of the items x 3000 a year now they receive $0. Yeah. good call on the new business decisions.
I just started using it, not my experience at all. AWD is meant for bulk storage anyways. If you have thousands of units or you're importing a large volume of items, its ideal. If you're hoping to use it to simply avoid FBA placement fees, then you're using it wrong.
The biggest lesson of selling on Amazon is that; Use official logistics services sparingly and customer support is abysmal.
I'm overwhelmed with relief after reading this post and the responses. I was actually (kind of, almost, but not quite there) considering the AWD option. Thank you, Justin. Thank you, Bonfit, Mike, Grizzly, and Larry. You've saved an old lady a lot of stress and heartache.

Sorry to hear this. Was considering it, but will steer clear of AWD even though they have been after us to use them. We already have massive amounts of FBA inventory stuck in FC PROCESSING for months with no help in multiple cases from Seller Central or Mods on this Forum. Nothing is as it's advertised to Amazon sellers...very apprehensive to trust any of Amazon's "amazing services".
What is AWD anyways other than ALL WHEEL DRIVE for a automobile so already sounds like a not very good idea at least maybe someone will get a good deal on pallets of inventory.....
