My account has been found to related to an account beginning with 'gvdsfujiyama'. I do not own any other seller central accounts and I have no idea who or what this other account is. The only reason for the link I can think of is that I used a public wifi while travelling in Japan. I did not log into my Amazon Seller Central account, but did log into my buyer account! Could this have cause a link?

I appreciate you sharing this information, and I do understand how frustrating the lack of information is in these situations so I wanted to offer some guidance. First No public WiFi and the use of your buyer account will not cause this issue.

As you are aware, this situation comes with a lot of ambiguity, so you will need to research the situation further and fully understand how and why this association occurred. You already advised you never used a VA and no one in your family sells. Do you have any friends who sell or previously sold on amazon? Do you share any information with anyone, including roommates, partners, or spouse for example?

These situations are very complex and an affidavit will never be accepted by themselves. We require additional supporting or partial documentation that supports the claims made on the affidavit. So you are aware, these situations use a very large pool of information including but not limited to any information used within your seller central account used manage or maintain it. If any of this information is used elsewhere, it will be considered a violation if it does not meet our code of conduct - multiple accounts policy.

What we will typically require is the associated store to be reinstated, or that proof of separation be provided. Proof of separation can come from a number of documents such a contracts for employees, or anyone else who may work for you. Termination agreements which show an end of service or employment confirming separation. If you had a prior business partner, do you have a proper disillusion of your partnership? These are just a few small examples of what we're asking for to show this proof. If you have parts of some of these documents an affidavit can be provided a confirmation and certification of separation.

Some situations where there are more complexities, you can offer a very detailed explanation including a timeline of events. This is not a general explanation, you will need specific dates and time when possible for relevance. An example of this would be, when did you go to japan (date, time). What were you doing that could have caused this issue, did anyone ever use your device or did you use someone else's, if so when, where, what time. Specific details help outline when issues were caused and if they were properly resolved or still pose a concern.

As an additional piece of information, I had created a post on these types of situations surrounding different account associations which may offer a little more information or guidance. If you are able to share any additional details I would suggest doing so, please be aware when you provide information to ensure all personal details are removed for your own protection.
