I'm new to Amazon seller, I wanted to set up as an Individual seller but I wasn't given that option when I was setting up. Amazon automatically set me up as a professional but I was unable to change it to individual until it had been approved.
My account got approved and I was charged the professional sellers fee straight away before I had a chance to change it to the individual account.
Does anyone know if I'm able to get my money back? And if so, how to go about it?
Thank you, I appreciate any help!

Go on top to "Discussions", type "subscription fee first month" in the search bar and read the countless threads.
Amazon declares that sellers who mistakenly sign up for the professional account are eligible for a refund of first month's fee if they have not used any services.
This means if you did not list anything for sale; did not edit any shipping templates, you should be eligible for refund. Whether you will get it ???
Open a case.
Hi @Seller_16wfK1e7L84VA
Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.
As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iACmentioned you can request a refund for the professional services, however that is only if you haven't used them.
First, you need to downgrade to the individual account, and then contact seller support, there you can open a case and they can review the refund request.
I hope this helps,
Connor
