Read onlyMy sales like down 96% today which is very very strange. I have never seen sales numbers this low, EVER!. Anyone noticed a severe drop in sales today?
Yes.
Sales have been dropping for the past several months, even with our wide product spread.
yes, the same thing is happening to me. Yesterday I had a great day. I'm thinking they are having some kind of technical difficulty. I have no idea.
Yes, sales are down like 50% so far today. Very strange. Usually when this happened a few times in the past it was due to an Amazon glitch and we saw a big sales increase once they fixed it. Hoping this is the case here... that customers are ordering but a glitch in Seller Central is not showing the sales in our numbers.
Im having a better day than usual, however the trend is that my sales have been decreasing since November 6, even through December.
Yes, my sales are down today and the previous two days by 90%... its so bad.
Mine also. Sales massively tanked last few days. Amazon has made some changes that very well may cost me 10's of thousands in investment and force me to stop using amazon.
There is a planned economic boycott for Friday Feb.28. This has been in the news. Many customers are dropping Prime accounts. Also in the news. People are holding back purchases as they do not know what is happening right now in the world. This is a fact.
Amazon also changed Algo and using more AI.
Amazon changed relevant search to featured.
Amazon suppressing listings that do not ship in 11 hours or less which is absurd. A move meant to combat competitors but I know people will wait for shipments overseas.
Just saying. These are the facts.
Strange. Our week has been stellar so far. Hoping it keeps up, and that it picks back up for you.
My sales have been low lately. It's been a struggle over the past several years to be honest but the past few weeks have definitely been weak
Wait until no buy Friday the 28th. Will be even worse.
2 days ago, sales were at a record low for me, and then the following day, they were at a record high! Also, for the past two weeks, refunds have been at a record low (which was great), however as soon as the payout period closed, a few refunds immediately appeared in the next payout cycle. It makes me wonder if there are delays in system data or something.
Yes, dramatically so. We use to sell 150-200 items daily and now we're not even hitting 50.
I sincerely believe it's because Amazon constantly screws with their algorithms. Their eventual plan is to phase out third party sellers.
We're heading into a major recession this year. Americans are tapped out. It will only get worse as the year goes on.
People are dropping Prime Accounts and there was big stores Boycott. Expect another week long boycott and more people not using Amazon.
I am already making new plans to the ones I already have in place.
There is this nonsense going around on Facebook and other social media to boycott Amazon, Walmart and the like. Esp on the 28th to do a full blackout and not shop on them for at least 24-48 hours. They think the boycott will harm Amazons bottom line, but it doesn't, it harms us the sellers. I'm not sure if it is globally or just in the US.
I have noticed the same as well. I haven't gotten any sales in the past few days on my other platforms and Amazon is very light now as well.
I'm hoping once this blows over things will go back to normal again.
The people in charge of the US government are causing wholesale chaos, firing tens of thousands of employees, starting fights with world leaders, and scaring the sh*t out of anyone with half a brain that they need to save their money like we are on the crux of an apocalypse because it looks like some new pandemic scale catastrophe is right around the corner... Because it is.
