Dear Seller Community,
I'm seeking advice and insights from fellow sellers who may have experienced a similar issue with Amazon's automated system. Recently, we discovered a duplicate listing with ASIN B0CP45G8X7 and SKU CN-LD6G-0DAG in Amazon Turkey, which we did not create.
On February 6, 2024, an unauthorized duplicate listing was created, setting the price to 29 Turkish Liras instead of the correct price of 1.042,58 Turkish Liras. We suspect this is an Amazon error, as the system automatically set the price, which should have been 29.99€ (Euros), resulting in a glitch that set the price to 0.83€.
On March 23rd, the system generated a high pricing error on the main listing, activating the duplicate listing with a price of 29 Turkish Liras. We received approximately 954 orders from the Turkish marketplace, which were shipped from the German warehouse to Turkey. On March 24th, the system error continued, and we received 71 additional orders from the Turkish marketplace.
As a result, we lost 1025 units due to this glitch. We tried to cancel the orders, but it was too late, as Amazon had already shipped them. We removed the duplicate listing and took screenshots of the listings that appeared.
We are confident that we adhere strictly to a template when creating listings, and there is no evidence of another listing created by us for this specific ASIN in the spreadsheet upload status.
We would like to know if other sellers have experienced similar issues and how they resolved them. We believe that if this kind of error occurs in Amazon's system, it could impact many sellers.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
