Shipping services purchased through Amazon "Billing for return postage"
RE: Shipping services purchased through Amazon "Billing for return postage"
Today received billing for return postage from all the way back to April 2023 we have about 13 charges (as of now some of these return orders have never been returned to us FBM not FBA)
Is anyone else getting these?

I saw an earlier post from another seller →Being billed a second time for returns from 2-3 months ago
Amazon's → Shipping correction charges for seller-fulfilled returns
Will these charges be visible in my Payments report in Seller Central?
Yes, any shipping-correction charges will appear as a single per-month lumpsum charge or credit, with a description of “Adjustment”. You will receive a monthly email explaining which packages resulted in carrier shipping-correction charges.
Sellers are supposed to get monthly emails, but being charged now, for shipments that were back in April seems very strange.

Hello @Seller_JbxwHe10UmfGA,
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
Did you receive an email explaining which packages resulted in carrier shipping-correction charges? If so, after cross-checking with your records, are you finding that the charges are incorrect? If you believe that the charges are in error, I would suggest opening a case with Support to troubleshoot the incorrect charges.
Please feel free to provide an update to this thread or provide a case ID number if you need additional assistance and I can look into it.
Regards,

NO Email was ever received from Amazon for these charges

We have had 11 Billing for return postage for Shipping services purchased through Amazon, for returns from 30, 60, and 90 days ago. Some of the returns have already gone through a SAFE-T claim process (for which we were refunded for the return) only to have a postage charge 2 months later.
Many of the returns are for "No Longer Needed" returns, where the customer should be paying for the return postage, but now, months later, we are getting the bill. I do not understand this and what recourse we might have.
No email. No detail. No communication at all. Just 11 charges for returns that have been received, refunded and (I thought) were closed.
We are FBM only, so we track all returns very closely. If anyone has any information on "why now?" I would love to know about it.

We are now upto 14 - they keep coming. does anyone know a recourse for this, a reason for why now? Can we open claims on return that were closed, and refunded, only to have a new charge against them, 60 days later?
Do I need to open a case for each charge that was already cleared / approved via the SAFE-T process?

Same thing happened to us today. We noticed that almost all of the debited orders were from when RFS did not automatically issue the customer a refund. Very convenient for Amazon as we were forced to manually approve the refunds precluding us from being able to file a SAFE-T claim.

I received (one) return shipping charge today. I can't remember receiving this before without an email. Not sure what is happening but my Amazon Days are numbered.
