Read onlyASIN B09VB5HVFY is hijacked by "BYUP". We are the original creator of the listing and have a trademark for the brand. however, we are not brand registered on amazon but USPTO registered and own GTIN have certificate. only thing we're asking is to revert back to the original listing.
USPTO registered Yes
case ID 17317701971
can one of the mods help?
There are plenty of sellers IN BRAND REGISTRY fighting the same battle...Amazon does not appear to protect actually hijacked listings and rather hunts down the easy newbies that simply didn't even realize there was a problem with the listing. Bolsters their number to take down 20 sellers in one listing, rather than wasting time on ONE seller to protect YOUR brand. So even brand registry is an "if and when". I would recommend to start with an official "cease and desist" letter to that seller and if that doesn't work, filing charges for "theft"
But of course, that seller sits in China and you wont get anywhere
nope, usually hackers taking over dozens of brands every week....
I recommend you to create a new case, write short and precise without emotions. Ask to escalate to the catalog team. Keep in mind that most probably it's not a native English speaker reading your case. So keep it short and simple.
State that the brand of this ASIN has been changed to BBB - confirm that you are the manufacturer of the brand AAA as shown in the picture and "Product Details" on the Product Detail Page - never gave the authorization to someone else to sell your brand on Amazon
- a screenshot of the USPTO where you show up as owner - EXACTLY matching your "Legal Entity" in seller central
- a screenshot of the GS1 search with the UPC where you show up as owner EXACTLY matching your "Legal Entity" in seller central
- a screenshot of the product page showing YOU as manufacturer
- a screenshot of the title showing the actual brand and the UPC prooving that THIS UPC doesn't belongto that brand
UPC:
It will take some time but I guess after 2-3 weeks the brand name should be reverted back to what it was.
