Read onlyI was under the impression that using Amazon buy shipping gave you some kind of insurance against package not arriving claims. So far I’ve had 2 different scenarios one of which there is a claim but it shows it has arrived and I won’t take a loss . 2nd package is lost in the mail . This second one I’ve had happen a lot . I was under the impression that if you ship the package within the 2 day timeframe (maximum handling time) and it is lost in transit you wouldn’t take a loss if you guide the customer to file an A-Z claim. . However that seems to not be the case as I had an order and shipped it the same day it was ordered and there is proof with amazons bug shipping. Instead of refunding the customer myself which would have been much faster and wouldn’t have impacted my seller metrics (I think) I guided them to do the A-Z claim. Amazon refunded them out of my reserve and counted it negatively against my metrics for not shipping out within two days. Well I did ! I appealed it and same response . It’s like they don’t even look at and actually investigate your claims. had I not been under these impressions I would have just taken the loss and refunded the customer myself to avoid bad seller metrics , but this deters me from shipping out high monetary items . My point being is it worth it using buy shipping? Am I under the wrong impression and are there better routes to take when purchasing shipping that anyone knows of?
Did the carrier scan the order as "accepted" on or before the ship by date?
