Often the SKU and MODEL NUMBER are the same for large companies.
Your title does not follow Amazon’s rules. The Brand must come first.
How long ago did you create the listing?
Have he same issue, anyone has a workaround? I changed it to FBM and it allowed me to finalize it but when I submitted it said “thanks for the suggestion” (I was adding a new product!!)
I guess I finally found the answer cause for last 2 days I was facing the same problem. Here is the instruction that I got from the Seller help:
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I understand that you are receiving an error when creating an inbound shipment to your product.
To fix this issue, try re-listing the product to fix the problem. Follow these steps:
1.) Go to your Manage inventory Page and look for your offer with your SKU
2.) Delete the listing in your inventory page (make sure to take note of the ASIN and the SKU before deleting)
3.) Once the offer is completely deleted from y ur regular inventory page, relist the ASIN by going to your Add product page - https://sellercentral.amazon.com/product-search?ref=xx_myiadprd_cont_myimain
4.) Search for your ASIN and create a New Offer by using the same SKU
5.) You choose FBA fulfilment channel and convert only.
Wait for the changes to take in effect within 15 minutes to a maximum timeframe of 24 hours.
Once relisted, please proceed on creating a new shipment.
After I’ve done it I have waited about 12 hours… then I deleted that last shipment created and made a new shipment…the funny thing that when I was trying to make an inbound shipment again (I have two sizes of boxes for this product) the problem still was there BUT if I create two shipments SEPERATELY (one for each size) - there is no problem anymore…
Hope it might help you and other sellers
