Scam on Amazon and SAFE-T denied. 0 Effort for Research by Amazon.

Even though sufficient evidence was provided that we the seller was defrauded. Amazon Safe-T claim was denied.

The Scam:

Customer places 2 separate orders for an expensive and cheap version of a similar product from 2 different vendors. Then the customer places a return for the expensive product but sends the Cheap product instead as the Return.

Worst part is Amazon was foolish enough to accept the wrong Return item with original packing and shipping label. and put the whole thing into another package with a Return Shipping label.

When we received the package we immediately knew this is not what was sent. We took an unboxing video, however it was not as per amazon guidelines which we realized later. However sufficient evidence regarding the customers other Shipping Label etc which clearly shows the returned item is not ours were provided. However Amazon claims department takes 0 effort.

Its time to boycott Amazon and proceed legally.

Amazon is not doing good, the delivery person takes the returned product without seeing anything like he is blind and put it the securement packing and if it comes in securement packing you can not take safe T claim as per their policy either it has your original product or a piece of mud. I am facing these issue on 5 to 3 products everytime , suffering loss.

Well, you are not alone and the 95% of sellers are facing this issue.

As per the evidences , it proves that most of these product thefts are committed by ATS Staffs by placing the order with their friends and closed ones account with the help of respective hub staffs.

Here with attaching the few communication details provided for amazon seller support/Safe T claim team.

I am reaching out to share a critical issue we've been facing with Amazon Transportation Services (ATS). Over 98% of our SAFE-T claims are due to product thefts, and now several of our ASINs have been blocked due to high returns (all the blocked ASINs are in the SAFE-T claims list).

We have substantial evidence pointing to ATS staff and hub proves as the perpetrators.

Below are the details of 4 specific claims illustrating these incidents:

Claim ID: 404-2952176-9076352

Courier return package was tampered with and resealed with Amazon-branded tape.(These tapes exclusively available only in hubs)

Original product replaced with a polyester garment.

Evidence includes weight discrepancies, opening videos, and images of the tampered package.

Claim ID: 405-4983837-1626769

Customer/ATS staff returned a used garment instead of the original product.

Pre-opening weight significantly less than the original product.

Package received intact with Amazon Secure Returns packaging, indicating ATS involvement.

Claim ID: 407-2733389-3013102

Courier return package weighed significantly less than dispatched.

Package had been cut and resealed with adhesives.

Evidence includes weight discrepancies, opening videos, and images showing the tampered package.

Return for the replacement order was an empty box, intact with Amazon branded sticker, available exclusively in hubs.

Evidence strongly suggests ATS involvement due to intact Amazon sealed stickers and weight discrepancies.

Why We Suspect ATS Staff:

Amazon's Return Verification Process:

If a genuine buyer returns a product, Amazon staff are supposed to check the original garment. If they find it is different from the original, used, or without price tags, they should not collect it from the buyers.

This implies that tampering happens after collection or with the help of ATS staff, possibly through orders placed by ATS.

RTO Packages:

RTO (Return to Origin) packages are always in Amazon's custody. If these packages are returned with the wrong item or lesser quantity, it again proves fraud committed by ATS.

Pattern of Fraud:

There are patterns indicating ATS staff might place orders through their friends/relatives, steal the products, and then return wrong items using unique seal IDs affixed at the hubs.

These incidents highlight a systematic issue with ATS handling and theft of products. Immediate action is needed to prevent further losses and restore trust in Amazon's fulfillment process.

We urge Amazon to:

Conduct thorough investigations, including hub CCTV footage review along the details of ATS collection staff.

Approve SAFE-T claims based on provided evidence.

Implement preventive measures against such fraudulent activities.

Amazon collects almost 20% of the selling price as commission, 10% as a closing charge, 10% as shipping, 5% as return expenses, and 25-35% as advertising charges. This means that around 75% of the selling price goes to Amazon.

After adding the products costs every sale generates losses.

Moreover, 98% Safe T Claim of products are stolen by ATS., ignoring all the complains/requests

Despite this, Amazon demands competitive pricing, high quality, zero policy violations, and 100% account health.

Can We make a union and file a legal case against amazon ?

We can share whatever legal expense it may take.

I had spent Rs. 2 Lakh in one legal battel with amazon but unfortunately it tooks 1.5 yrs for amazon to accept mistake and unblocked my listing after 1.5 year which was of no use.

Let us list out issues which are used to harassed the small sellers like us:

1) Very new seller of the product somehow gets the buy box, gets the A+ listing rights overnight and also has lots of fake reviews but amazon won't take any action.

2) Reviews are for the product and not for the platform. Amazon policies allows the reviews from product users who has bought same items from different source. There are thousands of "unverified buyers" reviews on amazon. But if we ask our customers to write reviews, amazon immediately blocks accepting our reviews and also submitted reviews never go live.

3) For any unsolved query, amazon customer care keeps sending template replies and doesn't help. Their social media team also asks to contact seller support which is totally rubbish bcos we have already told social media team that customer care is not able to solve a issue from last many months.

4) Product referral fees gets changed abruptly by amazon and we can't claim refund if it is beyond 30 days.

Please add to these list and let us know if we can make some strong group to oppose this tyrant Amazon to stop harassing small vendors like us.
