Welcome to You Asked, We Did It, the section of the forums where we show you how your voice creates real change within Amazon.
It started with our Sellers…
We heard many of you loud and clear. You want the ability to share your knowledge and expertise selling on Amazon with members of the New Seller Community. We both appreciate and encourage more seller to seller engagement.
Amazon caught wind and started to research…
This started with your feedback about the group. Our teams dove into your anecdotes and suggestions, and did our own brainstorming, to understand how we could provide new sellers with additional guidance from tenured veterans. We want everyone on the forums to learn and grow together, for improved business success and an enhanced sense of partnership. As we took a long hard look at how we manage communities, we thought it most beneficial to connect experienced sellers with newer sellers directly within the New Seller Community.
What is launching?
We are excited to announce a new initiative that we believe will greatly benefit both new and tenured sellers on Amazon. The New Seller Community is opening up the group further to connect active sellers with new sellers, providing guidance and feedback on how to be successful selling on Amazon.
Effective immediately, our most active sellers in the forums will now have access to interact with new sellers, answer questions, and share your knowledge and experience across threads created in the New Seller Community. You can read more about the New Seller Community in the FAQ linked here!
We couldn’t do it without you.
Your feedback on how the forums operates when it’s at its best, your thoughtful questions, and insightful opinions help our team understand how and where to focus our efforts to provide the best possible tools and support we can. We appreciate all the feedback posted to the forums every single day! We continuously monitor your thoughts on the forums and will leverage these insights to shape the evolution of this community!
FAQ's:
Q: What do I need to do to interact with threads created by sellers in the New Seller Community?
A: Nothing! If you are a seller who is frequently engaging on threads throughout the forums on a regular basis, you will have immediate access to provide answers on those threads. Nothing else is needed on your end.
Q: I still can't seem to engage on those threads, why not?
A: For this phase of this initiative, we have provided access to the most engaged sellers participating across the forums.
We heard directly from all of you and took this feedback seriously so new sellers can receive valuable advice from the sellers who participate here the most.
We look forward to hearing from you, if you have any questions on this, please don't hesitate to post them below. Thank you for your continued commitment to the Amazon seller community!
OK but you lost a lot of the most experienced sellers when you strted the new forum so any plans on inviting some of these sages back?
"You asked..." but don't even think of being able to use it.

Bit confused here...so as a fairly new seller if I post to the forum I will only be seen and interacted with by your preselected audience? Or where does this new forum happen? Do I have a choice? I like the uncensored input even if its not always gentle lol
now if only you would get competent seller support that should be the number 1 goal!!! yes i know it's laughable cause i know it would never happen!
Amazon listened by not even half listening. Like usual.
