I have provided all info for the inform act
I am not a new seller, at least 12 years on amazon
I get emails saying, we were able to verify and you may continue to sell ( account changes to all is well)

I look at resolve problem in Seller Central - says i did not supply account for $

3 times I have supplied - it has not changed!
This is twice a week having to deal with this......
Can a mod please help with this?
I have all supporting docs, screen pictures, etc.
Thanks
First, go over everything with a magnifying glass looking for a missing 'period' or 'comma'.
Is there a different capitalization, abbreviation, spelling, or, even an extra spa ce?
When Amazon says something must match they mean EXACTLY!
That means Street is not ST.
Jim is not James.
ALL CAPS is not SOme CAps
They mean every comma, period, dash, etc. must be EXACTLY THE SAME INCLUDING SPACE S.
What you submit for documents must match the details on your seller account EXACTLY.
Amazon changed how they scan information quite a while ago and the BOTS are less lenient than back when actual people looked at things!
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………
I did the video check, got email this am, all is fine!
now, yet another email from Amazon Buyability Team telling me i need to do the inform act again!!
3 times and a video, all saying, we have verified, only for another email to come to tell me to do it again!
This really is beyond comprehension.
"This really is beyond comprehension. "
You haven't been on here very long from the looks of your Forum post history, so you either just migrated or haven't been looking at the Forum at all!
Amazon is filled with gerbil tubes patrolled by BOTS and an occasional human. It is built on a "silo management' system so one gerbil tube may not even know that the other ones exist.
It is NOT unusual for a seller to be told "you are OK to sell" and the next day they are suspended because a different BOT (or person) that knows more about the rules and policies has looked at the information and found something that didn't look right.
There are posts about that happening pretty much every day. I've been on here almost 15 years now and I have not heard of any "Amazon Buyability Team". I'll check on the OTHER (more helpful) Forum to see if anyone knows what they do!
thanks so much! Yes, here as long as you or longer :)
This morning, yet 2 more emails, we have verified, sell on amazon, followed by another email, and this takes the cake!
from email: Within 10 days of receiving this email notification, upload a scanned copy of another government-issued photo identity document to Seller Central, along with all other required documents listed on the "Identity Verification" page.
Make sure that you include also the documents that we already verified
Include documents they already verified? ( so you verified them, now you need me to do it all over again?) for the 4th time?
Another government ID? I have another one, but this is beyond anything I have seen here on amazon and I have seen ALOT!
Are they hoping I dont have another government document?
then there is this! -notice, the 0 under target---

"This morning, yet 2 more emails, we have verified, sell on amazon, followed by another email, and this takes the cake! "
Well, I got this answer about the mysterious "buyability' team message when I asked on the "OTHER" Forum where sellers ask (other) sellers questions -- it's where most of the old timers fled after Amazon decided to "out" all our personal identity info on here.
The quote (with minor edits to shelter identities) --
"The “Amazon Buyability Team” is a relatively-new (2022 it seems) nomenclature used by the various Hyderabad Incubator-based Amazon Teams. They are typically focused on those 3P Sellers whose efforts are concentrated in Regional Marketplaces other than the Americas Region."
It seems that this one has replaced earlier iterations of their "Selling Coach".
The two things I find somewhat concerning is why a 'team' focused on outside the US site are asking for your Government ID info. Is the message in your AMAZON messages or has someone trolled you from outside Amazon hoping you would respond to an offsite message? If it is not on the Amazon site, is it one of the known Amazon 'dot com' email addresses?
Are you active in any of the other locations? Maybe they are real and following up to get you registered elsewhere.
I have no interest in selling and shipping anyplace other than the US and Protectorates on Amazon. I do sell using the eBay global shipping system since THEY eat all the headaches and I get paid and protected which would NOT happen here!
I'm headed out of town for a couple days, but if you have any case numbers I could still tag some MODS if I see it before we hit the road.
Good luck with this mystery!
Thank you so much!!
I was just on USA, then amazon put me on mexico and canada, I did not request nor did I want
It was actually in my messages. The old timer in me would not click links :)
"Out of the country requesting my docs". I am very concerned about this - As I said, i never wanted global selling, amazon turned it on. Trying to get it off is like a maze. There is absolutely no need for my docs to be requested by any other entity outside of the US, none, I am the same person in the US.
I requested help to get canada and mexico off. It seems I am unable to do this myself, amazon has to do it. So i found where to do it, requested it.
They are typically focused on those 3P Sellers whose efforts are concentrated in Regional Marketplaces other than the Americas Region." I never shipped to mexico or canada that I can remember.
We shall see. In order to be "helped" i had to send my DL in a support case. Mind you, that was the 5th time.
Have a nice trip!
I really appreciate your help.
