Hey, everyone. I am a new seller on Amazon. I just started a month ago, and my product is ready for sale. I have launched a campaign. I am getting impressions but not clicks and sales. What should I do?
Improve your offering.
If you are not getting clicks, your offer is not attractive enough. I view the offer as these main things. You should focus on these things.
1. Price - If you are more expensive than your competitors, your offer will be unattractive to customers.
2. Images - If your images are the same as your competitors, your offer will blend into the back ground and will become unnoticeable.
3. Copy - Its really hard to screw up a copy. Any copy works. It has to be a massive screw up for the copy not to work....such as selling a pen but having your copy talk about that you are selling staples.
4. A+ Content - A+ content helps with your organic positioning on the catalog which leads to more sales. However, its exclusive to trademark owners.
5. Shipping settings - FBM selling can sound appealing, but Amazon is a monopoly when it comes to FBA. The benefits you receive on the catalog for being FBA are undeniable. Which leas to more sales.
Aim for a CTR of, at least, .3. Its rare for the CTR to be less than .3 and have your campaigns work well. If this does happen, it means that your niche in general is not very attractive, but your product does well in that niche.
It's a simply reverse pyramid formula.
If impressions and no clicks, then its either...
- Poor kwd targeting (validate with your data-driven research). If unknown, run an auto campaign
- Poor main image or not differentiated enough
- Price
View your product in the listing page as click-bait. What would be appealing to get the click, that is A) compliance with Amz policy, and B) truthful to not mislead the visitor.
Over time, then track your main KPI's related to this....
KPI = CTO (click to order) and CTR (click thru rates)
I think problem is with your Main Image if main image is not attractive then yout CTR is low . [Moderator edit: removed solicitation]
