That is not strange. You communicated somehow with Amazon's customers and that's not allowed. Just do what they are asking.

See this thread from today as well --

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/2cacb2fe-e840-48b7-ae32-5b2b5c72c0d5?postId=bab14ace-7152-4634-be7a-1cf0a4ecab6c

There have been previous posts about it as well.

It would appear that their BOTS have some extra time since sales are slow so they are creatively finding even more ways to make sellers miserable.

Amazon agents are the ones telling sellers to reach out customers and solve problems. So, what they are encouraging is actually against the rules?

Not that we should expect any logic in anything that is going on this platform. :-(

They say things, that is totally nonsense, then you point out that their advice is not good and explain why. Then they get angry and rude. Happened to me a several times. They give advice that is technically impossible. :-(

A few days ago I kept arguing with robots. All automated messages. Totally nonsense replies by an AI or whatever. I tell the issue, they ignore what I say. I tell it again. They ignore it. I explain why their reply makes no sense and tell the issue again. They reply the same robotic automated nonsense.

Yes. Ignore those "agents" as they don't have your best interests in mind and it won't be a defense that "the agents told me to" if your account is in jeopardy.

"..to influence them on one or more of the following - (1) requesting or sharing personal information, (2) modification of a negative review or seller feedback.."

#1: If a customer asks for a return label for a "hazmat" product for a return, and the original shipping information on the order is stripped so Amazon can comply with some draconian law in Europe...how are we supposed to send the label without asking for an address?

#2: Requesting a customer remove a negative feedback is part of the appeal process for a negative feedback. Amazon literally asks us to initiate this very communication.

We received the same message on April 11th. All our appeals failed. One week later, we received another email stating that the original email about the policy violation was sent in error. However, the violation is still active.

We asked some moderators to look into it. Looks like it's widespead "glitch"
