Read onlyAnyone else out there experiencing lengthy receiving delays with FBA shipments sent to the TMB8 fulfillment center? I sent in a shipment (FBA Shipment ID FBA18JMDK9HG) to TMB8 on October 24 and the shipment was delivered on October 29. Unfortunately, the shipment has yet to be received by TMB8 . The initial date of eligibility for investigation is December 20, but I'm sure Amazon will kick it back to as the December 20 deadline approaches.
I have been utilizing FBA since ‘16 and this is the second time a delay like this has occured. I went through a similar issue last summer shipping to the GYR2 fulfillment center. It ended up taking over two months (and a post in Seller Forums) for my shipment to be received. Many units in my shipment were melted from sitting in a blazing hot trailer in the Sonoran Desert for two months. Amazon still dispatched the melted inventory to customers and subsequently, my product ended up receiving a few negative product ratings that I was unable to have removed from the listing.
I understand that it's the Holidays. However, from the looks of it, TMB8 appears to be a mismanaged fulfillment center with a history of extended receiving times. For comparison, I rolled the dice and sent in a similar shipment to RYY2 on November 6 and it was checked in and received in full on November 19.
I have opened a case for this issue (Case ID 16645263411). Unfortunately, opening a case with seller support is an exercise in futility as seller support is only capable of sending boiler plate responses that essentially tell you to sit tight and be patient until the ever-changing investigation eligibility date is reached. Given that my options are nonexistent, I’m hoping that a Seller Forums Mod might be able to step in and pull some strings on this one. @TaylorR_Amazon @Jameson_Amazon @KJ_Amazon @Topher_Amazon @Dominic_Amazon

amazon is a disaster lately with receiving at thier fullfulment centers.
We self delayed all FBA shipments this year permanently lesson learned and for those who continue to use FBA you should know better and everything that happens is on you you play with the Devil you will always get burned!
we have same bad issue with IAH3.
Package has been delivered on 29-10-2024.
Until today,nothing received!!!!
Contacted amazon service, just ask us wait again and again!!!!
Apparently there are many sellers in the same situation. Amazon can not estimate the inbound shipment and inventory placement ETAs. They arrived to October 2024 unprepared, despite years of e-commerce growth and the Covid surge experience. You might wonder where all the advertised investments went other than more warehouses.
It's not just deliveries that are delayed, there also large delays in inventory placement. We lost at least one month of revenue since October because it took a month to check-in and add to available inventory our deliveries (that's around 10% of our annual revenue for now and December looks bad too with some of our shipments still not delivered).
But the worst part is that Amazon can not give ETAs. We could adjust our parameters every month if we knew how long it takes them to process the transfers, but no we're clueless. Then, if you ship too many units to try to prevent the problem, they hit you with overage fees and very high seasonal storage fees. You never know what to do. This is what it is right now.
Hi @Seller_VQY7JrCYQPRk4, I appreciate your patience! I'm happy to report that your shipment is now receiving.
