Read onlyFor the past approximately three weeks, approximately two dozen listings for books that I have not myself created newly appear on my sellers platform. Some are duplicates of items already sold. Some are duplicates of items for sale. Several have been for books I have listed, but the newly created listings are for foreign language items. One, with two photos submitted, was for a book I have never had in my possession, and never put up for sale. I have not contacted Amazon about this because I don’t get satisfaction from communicating with them. I have been listing books for sale on Amazon for six years and this is an entirely new experience for me. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.
First, I would recommend changing your password to make sure there is no unauthorized access to your account. Second, do you possibly have any 3rd party apps connected to your account that could be sending over inventory data?
Sounds like you have been hijacked. Open a case now with seller support. You need to have amazon look at these ASAP.
Also go look at all your data - phone number, address, any email addresses that r hiding in plain site anywhere in your account data fields and if anyone has added themselves in any other fields- and yes change password NOW and look to see if any orders are pending for those 'new' postings
Hi @Olinguito,
Thanks for the post. Can you share the case id that you opened with Seller Support.
Thanks in advance.
