Brand name from supplier
If a supplier has a "brand" or "brand name", does this need to go onto Brand Section on the 'Product Description' page?
OR
Is the "Brand" section on the 'Product Description' page for "our own Brand" or the Brand name from the supplier?
I'm confused as I see so many listings with
Brand: Shows a name or different name from seller (Sold By)
(Seller) Sold by: Shows either the same as brand name or different name

The Brand name that goes on the listing's Product Description page is for the Brand of the Item being sold on the listing.
Brand: Shows a name or different name from seller (Sold By)
(Seller) Sold by: Shows either the same as brand name or different name
Sellers names are always going to usually be different than the brand name on the listing, as the brand of the listing and the seller would normally be different since the seller is purchasing the items from the brand owner or one of their authorized wholesale distributors.
Normally if the brand is selling direct on amazon, they sell direct TO amazon via vendor central and then the items would be listed as sold by Amazon.
