We are used to small shipping adjustments, however this year has been crazy. We recieved an order at the end of November and shipped the package with the following details.
Package Type: Package, Dimension LWH 68x4x4 Package Weight 8LB Order value was $119
While reviewing our transaction history last weekend we found that we had been charged an adjustment cost of $548.93 on that order. We checked the FedEx tracking number and found they had changed the size on our package to 100x29x8, and then adjusted the charge back to us. We have shipped hundreds of these items in the exact same packaging. The FedEx proof of delivery photo taken by their delivery drive clearly shows that the item was shipped in the original packaging and that the FedEx adjustment size claims are incorrect.
Last week we contacted FedEx who agreed that the size claims were incorrect as we have photos showng the original packaging and size, and the delivery photo clearly shows that packaging. However they told us they could only refund us if Amazon filed the request as the label was purchased through Amazon Buy shipping.
So then we contacted Amazon seller support and they told us to contact FedEx, even through we told them that we had already contacted FedEx and they told us we had to contact Amazon...
Hoping a MOD can check our case and have it forwarded to someone who can do something...
