restricted products

I have 2 ASIN's that are removed.

B01KJASIKE, B003KKHL0O

B01KJASIKE they are telling me it has prohibited content because it uses the term contamination and it considered pesticide. This is a automotive part. It keeps out contamination. The problem is, my details do not say this. This content must be from another seller.

B003KKHL0O they said is a intellectual property violation for using the term "VW"

In both instances MY product details do not include those terms. Those terms must be from another seller. Why do I get punished for product details I don't provide and since Amazon uses product details from all the sellers that sell, why instead of creating a drama about it, they don't just put someone elses provided details in and remove the offensive details. I have edited my listings multiple times to get a appeal and it never takes and I feel I am spinning my wheels trying to fight this stuff.

Check your SEO/KW back-end. Also, do you have a SS case? AI does weird things we can't always see on our side.

Looking over this ASIN, I do see that there are a few points that do not meet our comparability requirements within the detail page. This could be the cause of the suspected intellectual property violation you received. As an example the title: "ROUND BILLET MIRROR, PR, dune buggy vw baja bug" does not match our recommended compatibility requirements shown in our trademark: FAQ help page.

Title format for branded compatible products

[Your Product’s Brand Name] + [Product Name] + "for"/”compatible with”/”fits”/”intended for” + [Brand of Main Product] + [Main Product Name] + (other product title elements, if applicable)

This help page also provides additional resources and picture examples of how compatible listings should be represented to meet these requirements. Have you attempted updating your listings or created a case for support with these changes? If you are running into issues manually updating your listing, have you attempted using an inventory file to push the updates. If you have can you share you batch ID or related cases with me?

This situations actually appears to have two separate issues, The first similar to the ASIN: B003KKHL0O, there seems to be a compatibility concern with VW, specifically around the bullet point with the statement: "Application: Volkswagen Type 2 Bus 1955-1963". This does not include a compatibility and could be seen as potentially misrepresenting Volkswagen based on our policy.

The second situation related to the restricted product policy violation for pesticides. Upon review I did not find anything specifically related to a pesticide product or claim and thus reached out to our teams for further information on their decision and if they agree, I have asked them to remove the violation. Once I have an update on their decision I will reach back out to provide their actions or feedback on next steps.

When it comes to listing compliance, each seller is individually responsible for verifying their listings are compliant. If there are attributes that are incorrect regardless of where they came from, we advise removing your listing to ensure you're selling under the correctly described ASIN, or that you're updating them to be compliant. The reason for suggesting the use of an inventory file and sharing your batch ID in these situations is that it helps push updates and if these fail we can work with the appropriate teams to understand why, review all provided details and requested updates to see if they can push the updates on your behalf.

Please continue to keep me updated on your progress so I can assist as best I can through this situation. The forums community and I are here to support you. Let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Emet.
