Read onlyHi @Cooper_Amazon - I am addressing this to you since I saw that you quickly resolved similar issues encountered by other sellers.
I tried to add this item https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6BWPMGW to my catalog. System displayed below error message. I contacted Seller Support. First agent said I need to provide information requested with a photo of the product to prove that it is generic and unbranded. As you can see, this is a branded product it is not generic. I explained this again in next message. Another agent copied and pasted the previous agent's reply. I then requested a manager's help to resolve this issue and to review the request to me to do the impossible (product is branded...how do I send a photo of it and show it is generic and unbranded?). Another agent copied and pasted the previous agent's reply and closed the case! Thanks in advance for your help!
Error! You cannot change a product detail page or add offers on another seller’s generic product or copy the product detail page to another store. If you want to sell a generic product, you must create a new product. To create a new product, follow the process outlined in Add a Product tool. For more information, go to Amazon Generic Product Policy. If you believe you are compliant with our policy, contact Selling Partner Support and mention error code 5885. When you contact Selling Partner Support, provide the following information: • Product title • SKU • ASIN • If you are using an inventory file template for feeds upload, provide the Batch ID of the processing report • Real world image of the product and packaging that clearly shows if the product is generic and unbranded.

Hey there @Seller_XrlSe5kQcs4vD,
I hope you are doing well.
I have checked on the case ID that you have provided and I was able to confirm that these violations are due to the incorrect brand name which is generic. The brand name attribute must properly reflect the trademarked content (text, logo) within the listing or it will trigger a violation.
As @Cooper_Amazon has mentioned above, brand name changes are not typically able to be completed. You may create a new ASIN or find an existing ASIN with the correct brand name to correct this issue. You can also reach out to the Selling Partner support team to see what the available options are about suggesting a brand name change. Once you have done this please let us know what the outcome was.
I would like to continue monitoring this with you and if you have any updates to provide, please do so here in this thread. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
Good Morning @Seller_XrlSe5kQcs4vD,

Good Morning @Seller_XrlSe5kQcs4vD,
The team has followed up with us and shared that the feedback provided to you on CASE ID 15904340371 is valid and accurate.
UPC Exemption Not Approved: To list the products/brand mentioned on CASE ID 15904340371, you need to provide a valid product ID. For Grocery & Gourmet Food products, major brands require a UPC to list.
If seller's are currently listing these products as generic but they are branded items, it should be reported through the Report Abuse Tool on the Account Health Dashboard. Here is a video on how it works. If you are brand registered, you can also file a report through the Brand Registry report abuse tool.
You can also report directly from the detail page using the button under the additional details section of the detail page that says 'Report an issue with this product or seller.'
I know this is not the news that you were hoping for but at least we were able to have a second pair of eyes review the case. Please let me know if you have any questions about the outcome of this case.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
