Effective March 1, 2024, we expanded the following benefits for FBA New Selection to help make it easier to launch new products on Amazon:
Rebate on sales
We'll continue to provide an average 10% rebate on sales of eligible new-to-FBA parent products, including new rebates for eligible non-branded selection.
The rebate is available on up to 50 units for eligible non-standard size items, and up to 100 units for eligible standard-size items for 120 days from the first inventory-received date.
Benefits for more units and extended days
We've made the following changes for all eligible non-standard size products:
Reduced IPI score for eligibility
We reduced the Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score needed for program eligibility to 300 or higher. Previously, you needed a score of 400 or higher to qualify for the program. If you have yet to be assigned an IPI score, you can enroll in the program and receive the program's benefits.
We will announce additional program updates, including a discount on Vine enrollment fees later in the year. For more information, go to FBA New Selection.
Given the new outrageous fees for FBA, this may be the only time span where you can turn a profit. Good luck everyone!
don't forget the new low inventory fee that combines with the long-term storage fees so that everyone pays fees just for having any products in FBA.
Major New Fee Increases ... which mean all 3p sellers need to increase prices to remain profitable, resulting in higher prices for customers... I believe both were points in the FTC case.
Is the FTC still investigating Amazon and building the case?
How many 3p sellers are secretly talking to the FTC, and feeding the investigators this information?
How many undercover investigators does the FTC have operating as 3p sellers on Amazon.com to gather information that can be used so easily against Amazon?
Does Amazon realize just how much information on Seller Forums can be used against Amazon and that this information is so easily given out?
"And the genius award goes to... mmmm... ahhh... nevermind..."
Wish I could get the rebate for the inventory we just got back from FBA destroyed by Amazon warehouse staff. Currently, when this happens, we have to go in and file case after case after case, sending the same photos every time, and also somehow have to prove we didnt ship our new products already run over by forklifts (that we dont have).
(funny that FBA is also telling us to ship inventory to you for the same ASIN too... make work for you and UPS...
Try again. This new inventory placement fee is killing any potential new FBA sellers.
