A2Z Claim Fraud on two orders totalling $12,000, mods please help! **UPDATE**

UPDATE : Amazon Mod Susan attempted to assist us, but after submitting the police report and other evidence, the case has been stalled for months with no response. Our previous forum post received replies from the moderators, but we still have not been helped, despite their claims of "looking" into the matter. We have also received no response from Susan since interest in our forum post waned. Please help us resolve this issue. All details are provided below. We urgently need assistance from someone at Amazon. This situation is outrageous, and we have all the necessary proof.

We recently sold a few expensive graphics cards. 2 buyers filed A2Z claims saying they received boxes full of food items instead of the graphics cards. Both buyers won the claims.

We filed a police report, and the police were helpful. They subpoenaed Amazon and FedEx and uncovered the following:

-Both buyers are linked

-FedEx provided X-Ray scans of the packages in transit before reaching the destination, and sure enough the contents were the graphics cards they ordered.

Also:

-The buyer sent photos of a box with neatly packed contents. Including a ripped bag of flour, which had not been spilled out whatsoever. If this package had been shipped with a ripped bag of flour inside, wouldn't flour be all over the package? Also it shows water bottles perfectly standing up. Again, had these been shipped to the buyer the contents would have jostled during shipment. It is clear these photos were staged by the buyers.

We have video surveillance footage from our facility showing the items being packaged, and then picked up by FedEx.

We appealed the outcome of the claim and lost. We opened a case with case ID number 14952036831 which has been transferred to the claims team. We have had these kinds of cases show up as transferred to the claims team with no resolution for weeks, or even months, or at all. Seems like they never get addressed. In the case, I attached copies of the police report, as well as an email from the detective asking us to forward their information to Amazon and to have Amazon reach out so they can provide further evidence.

We are a long time seller, and it is unfair that Amazon does not stand by us in these fraudulent cases.

Can a mod please look into this and help us get some resolution from the claims team so our case does not go unanswered? Or have Amazon actually reach out to the detective so they can provide further evidence on our behalf? So far Amazon has not reached out to them. We would greatly appreciate it, we have tried to appeal with no resolution despite having all this evidence.

Wow. Police report? Subpoena? Fedex X-rayed the package?

And Amazon STILL denied your claim?

This isn't a "he said, she said" case. It's clear who's lying.

How can Amazon still side with the crooks?

Amazon will keep denying it because they don't want to pay you. You will need to go to arbitration, or, file criminal charges.....and a civil claim for damages.

Best odds for a mod to react, is that they will close this post as duplicate :-(

You went about things the wrong way. And. Where you stand today most likely will be your final outcome as far as Amazon is concerned. The reason being the claim is too large, Amazon does not like getting in the middle of a He-Said-She-Said situation, and the buyer did nothing wrong to defraud Amazon.

So, what to do? We have resolved the same issue for a lot less dollar Amount than yours very effectively, with no help from anyone else. Remember, the buyer did not defraud Amazon, the buyer used the Amazon site to defraud your business.

Hopefully your business is licensed in your state. Every state has laws to protect licensed businesses. Simply look up your state's laws online in your state code, then take the buyer to court.

You do not need a Lawyer. Simply go to your local Court Huuse and file a complaint against the buyer. The clerk at the window will the forms to use and tell you how to fill them out. place in there everything you want to collect, but keep it reasonable. We pay the $35.00 filing fee and the additional fee for the court to send a summons by certified mail to the buyer.

Strangely, the buyer thinks it a joke to be summoned to a court in another state and fails to appear. At the hearing, you state your case, and the judge rules in your favor. Now with that document, you can collect your damages from the buyer. Amazon is not even involved.

Of course, it is up to you to decide on how to go about collecting. We have found that placing an attachment on their paycheck has the most consistent return on repayment.

Sounds intimidating, but once you do it the first time, you will be ready and waiting for the next one to come along.

Suspiciously I these events were rare, but after all the changes on Amazon, it's frequent now. I got like 1 A-to-Z , every 2 or 3 months. I got 3, just May. Also, back then I got wrong address return, then people took actions. Now, no returns, just people randomly filing A-to-Z. Back then they sent messages if there was something wrong. They don't even bother, they just hurt small sellers. Also, when it comes to some real issues, honest buyers most of the time they don't even know what A-to-Z is, they just filing it, because Amazon is telling them to do that, without informing buyers what A-to-Z. Many times if I get one, the buyer says he/she had no idea that A-to-Z-s hurting the seller, and they just click on that, because Amazon is telling them to do that. So Amazon is actively trying to hurt small sellers. Why is that?

In the past 10 years, I was working on this website, did my best from the beginning, usually 98% success rate, happy customers, etc. Yet, this month, my livinghood is in danger, because I asked for help from Amazon, but I got none, and now my account is in danger, yet, I still don't get help. :-(

Amazon is going the way of the old eBay. We have reduced our listings on Amazon from 17,000 to 6,000 as they constantly give our inventory away and refuse to reimburse us when we show the item delivered or the return was fraudulent. This is the first time in a decade that we have more listings on both eBay and Walmart than we do on Amazon.
