We opened a case with the Amazon Seller Support Team because the FBA team has disposed some of our inventory without our authorization. They also charged disposal fees for an order that was returned. Our settings for FBA are set to return not dispose. Also, Automated unfulfillable settings are Enabled. Return Schedule: Weekly (on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 28th). These settings were like this when they disposed our item and they always been this way for many years. we are being denied reimbursement for this order that was disposed without authorization. amazon answer was: "We may dispose of any Unsuitable Unit (and you will be deemed to have consented to our action): immediately if we determine that the Unit creates a safety, health, or liability risk to Amazon, our personnel, or any third party. Hence, there was no disposal order ID as the item was disposed immediately". Not even an order id, just fees? and they simply disposed it? We need help getting reimbursement and to prevent this from happening again in the future, any suggestions?

Good luck! They did the same to myself. Apparently, they do this and will continue to simply because they can.
Hello @Seller_8nisHGJqC2Dxg
If you give me a Case ID I can share it with our partner team and determine if there are any steps available for you to dispute the disposal decision due to the determination of a safety, health, or liability risk to Amazon, our personnel, or any third party.
