Read onlyHello everyone,
I’m hoping someone here can offer some advice or share similar experiences. I created a new Amazon seller account a few months ago, and I haven’t made any sales or engaged in any selling activities yet, as I was still in the process of setting everything up.
However, when I logged in recently, I found that my account had been deactivated. Amazon requested a gas bill for identity verification, which I promptly submitted. Unfortunately, their response was that my account had been deactivated for engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities that violate Amazon’s policies.
This has been really confusing because, as I mentioned, I haven’t done anything on the account yet. I’ve submitted multiple appeals, asking Amazon for specific details about why my account was deactivated, but so far, I’ve only received generic responses.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? What steps did you take to resolve it? Any advice on how to get more specific information from Amazon or how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Shaheen

My friend also wanted to start selling on Amazon. He went through the same issue you are facing.
Finally, he got his account activated.
