So… apparently there’s no more actual tracking updates on your FBA shipment summary page tracking tab. Now it just has your tracking number and what Amazon believes is going on with the shipment progress.
Tracking tab seems to be working again!
Same here. The Amazon tracking got a little flakey as it neared delivery, but it would be nice if they made the tracking number a link to the carrier's tracking data.
Yes. Just checked one that UPS says delivered this morning, Amazon tracking says 'In Transit' with no shipment progress.
So annoying.
Just out of curiosity… Who is downvoting this post…? Like… it’s a statement of fact… Do you disagree with facts and reality…? or do you dislike bringing attention to it…? Or are you opposed to tracking things…? Like… what’s your malfunction…?
If your package is being delivered by AMAZON instead of a reliable carrier then the tracking has been worthless and mostly guesswork in my experience. For example package showing delivery Saturday not delivered until following Thursday with package delayed displayed on the evening of the original date. I consider it dishonest for FBA shipments to claim delivery in two days or next day when never has this actually occurred in the past couple years in my experience nor those of my neighbors and associates! As a FBM seller this ranks with the hogging of the buy box when FBA offer is out of stock on items last commercially available over 20 years ago!
I usually have to refresh that page to see the tracking information update. But you can always paste it into the carrier's website for an accurate update.
I have it like that too.
UPS says delivered 8 Mar. Amazon tracking says "In Transit".
Today 11 Mar
Thanks for the thread. I thought it was just my shipment. Mine doesn't even say "in transit", just "shipped'. It was delivered on Wednesday, March 8th, according to UPS, but nothing on Amazon. How long are you waiting before you open a case?
Do we really think the feature is gone or is it just another of the endless Amazon glitches that no one has noticed yet.
Another thought I had - the fulfillment center is in California. I wondered if all the weather crises there were part of the problem.
I opened a case as soon as I noticed...and all I got back was how the Amazon tracking works. Of course right?? Amazon support has no idea what is going on nor how to help most issues.
I hate tracking, knowing when things get there; who wants that?
