I made 5 different shipments to Amazon FBA, all the shipments closed with discrepancies, even some shipments Amazon lost the inventory almost entirely.
I requested the investigation for each shipment and the only answer is "Our research shows that the **** units of FNSKU **** that you sent with shipment **** have arrived at our fulfillment center as an unexpected FNSKU when compared to your shipping plan.
Basically Amazon admits that it received my shipments but somehow cannot recover the physical inventory or refund (but they know they have it).
I am seeing many sellers in this same situation and I am going to explain what is happening.
Amazon is receiving shipments from sellers and is assigning a different FNSKU And ASIN to your merchandise, because of this your merchandise get lost and then they have no way to relate it to you.
However, the interesting thing about this is that Amazon found one of my shipments under another ASIN and another FNSKU, received it as unexpected, but was still able to recognize that it was my shipment and reconciled it with my original shipping plan and added it to my inventory.
Another interesting fact is that in some of my shipments Amazon received a part of the units and registered them in my inventory, however the other units that are missing from that same shipment were all together, how is it possible that it is a different FNSKU?
How is it possible that if you send a shipment of 70 units, 8 are added to your inventory and 62 are a different FNKSU? If it was a single shipment and they were all together?
So it is evident that even if you send the wrong inventory (if this were the case) Amazon is able to relate that shipment to you based on the information it contains.
Amazon currently has my merchandise and I am even able to see which of their warehouses they are in and the amount of inventory they have of my merchandise and yet they do not want to recover my inventory and reconcile it to my shipping plans, which none of them have any type of error.
Warehouses where my merchandises are lost by Amazon and probably assigned under another ASIN AND FNSKU:
MIA1, TLH2, SBD6, ORF2, SAV4, FTW6, VGT1, DET3, RDU2, SCK6, PVD2, XMD3, RDU1, CMH1, IAH3, EWR4, TMB8, HOU6, BHM1.
So dear sellers, if you are going through this same situation, basically Amazon received your shipment and assigned a different FNSKU and ASIN to your merchandise and you have to make sure that Amazon finds it and reconciles it to your original shipping plan.
I need the support of the entire Amazon seller community so that this case is resolved and also yours, feel free to comment about your case and ask for any information.
I need Amazon to investigate my missing units possibly under a different FNSKU AND ASIN and reconcile my units to my original shipping plan, or alternatively refund me for my lost units.
