Read onlyHi there,
A customer entered his address wrong on Amazon. We sent him a heavy parcel via USPS (seller fulfilled) for which we paid $65 postage and the parcel was returned to us with the label 'Insufficient address. Address does not exist'. I googled his address and USPS are correct. He got the street number wrong. We contacted the customer but there was no reply.
What should we do please?
If I refund him I will get a negative on my account and also lose the postages we paid.
Is there a way to report this issue to Amazon and partially refund the customer (less postages we paid) without a negative impact on our account?
Thank you.
There is no "if" here -- you cannot keep the money and the goods.
You may refund less the shipping fee paid by the customer -- not less the shipping fee you paid.
Refunding does not count against you.
