I am a new seller. I purchased an inventory from brand and sent it to Amazon through 3pl service. My account has been suspended under section 3 and i have sent an inventory of 2 products from the same brand by mistakenly creating separate shipment plan for two products 40 units of one product and 80 units of other and amazon receives same quantity of 120 units but the amazon system was expecting 160 units and due to which my account has been deactivated. i have the invoices from brand and LOA, bank transaction details tracking number also which is enough to verify all the process. But amazon is still unable to activate my account. I don't know how to submit appeal and make plan of action. Can anyone guide me please?
Sounds like there are too many new seller mistakes involved here to get and satisfying resolution.
1. Never send a product to FBA until you have sold it for at least a month using FBM. That way you will know thew salability of the product and if there is enough volume in sales to pay all the fees Amazon will assess, and still have your desired profit remaining for yourself.
2. Amazon knows what an invoice includes. An invoice is used when Your USA business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all included.
- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, and terms of sale
- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name
- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,
- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quantity, sale, specials
- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number
- TERMS OF PAYMENT: 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, interest assessed
Some have more, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.
If you purchased the items from a distributor using cash and carry, or on-line with a credit card, and paid sales tax on it, you are not buying wholesale from the manufacturer.
3. It is always a bod idea to send mismarked product to FBA. Understanding the culture of FBA employees is a must. They have no interest is straightening out a seller's mistake. It is easier to simply mark the mismarked product as UNKNOWN and place it on a pallet to be sold out the back door.
