A "authorized reseller, not a brand owner, had our offer removed.....twice now once reinstated and now again. Is that correct?

Hello and thank you for your time and help, just looking to get some input here.

We had an offer removed reported as "counterfeit without a test buy" and after submitting documentation to Amazon it was reinstated but now it has been taken down again so we are waiting to see if it's going to be reinstated again or not. You never know with Amazon of course so it's a bit frustrating.

The competing seller removing our offer freely admits that he is not the brand owner but the only "authorized reseller" of the product.

From my understanding this is not correct, a brand owner can tell us that they don't want us selling their product under certain circumstances but not an "authorized reseller" just trying to keep the listing all to themselves. Please correct me if I am wrong on that. Also never knew an offer could be removed twice even after you prove the authenticity of it.

You say that the other seller states that they are the only authorized seller of the product even though they are not the brand owner. That very well could be true, many brands only authorize one seller to keep quality of selling in check and better control of price. And the seller could be making it up, I don't know in your particular situation.

Not sure how you are getting your products for this brand, but to really get the answer, you need to contact the brand and ask if there is only one authorized seller. If you don't have a relationship with the brand, then it very well may be true. One last question, are there other competing offers besides the other seller on the product.
