OTDR Extreme Drop

My OTDR just over the past two weeks dropped from 93% to 59%, I have not changed any shipping settings and we have consistently used our same shipment process as we always have.

Our account health score is a perfect 1000 without any violations on record. We are not receiving the "Your account is at risk of deactivation" notice.

Did something change with OTDR recently and why it has dropped so heavily for us?

Ours went from 100% yesterday to 0% today and we are getting the "Your account is at risk of violation." We have one package that sat at a hub in Atlanta for 7 days before it's next scan on the 21st, headed to Kentucky. Got delivered on the 26th, five days later than promised.

We are a very small niche, so we only get one or two orders a week. So, I understand that we will be hit hard by just one package being mishandled, but I still can't understand how Amazon expects us to control what UPS, FedEx or USPS does once a package is handed over to them.

You probably ship FedEx, they can't handle the volume of packages and have been taking very long to deliver. I had about 50 packages sit for 2 weeks in their California facility.

Thank you for checking in with the seller forums about your On Time Delivery Rate metrics.

There have not been any changes to the OTDR metric and report. If you believe there is an issue with the report and orders are included that should not appear there, please file a support case with the details and share that Case ID with me.

Otherwise, I recommend reviewing our Frequently asked questions about on-time delivery rate (OTDR) page for more details on this topic.

@Seller_7AcEeaT8sGdxu- What percentage are you at as of today?

I have been working with various people to understand this issue. Basically, the seller is responsible for any late deliveries by carriers if using SKU handling time as of last summer when the AHT was implemented.

Simply put if you are using sku handling time you are responsible for carrier issues as they are considered handling time now not shipping time.

To fix this you MUST have AHT on and abide by the time they predict you are shipping in which is normally 1 day maybe two. If you have AHT on you are not responsible for carrier issues and will not count against you.

If you are selling in various categories, you can apply for an exception and specify what you want the AHT to be set at per sku and it will override the aht setting.

The same thing happened t0 me mine dropped to 54% they sad they were not going deactivate my store but I had to change all my shipping to automated. The deactivation risk stays on there until it clears. They say it takes 14 days to come off. Not a very good feeling.

Same here. Just got an order from a several states away. I tried to select buy shipping, whoops, the cheapest one is $9. For an $10 order. So unless If I make a 4 dollar loss and buy expedited shipping, I'm going to get an OTDR hit on my metrics.

Amazon wants all sellers gone that is why they screwed with all the shipping settings , prices and delivery days. We even noticed Commercial addresses are putting closed for delivery which also forces increased prices on shipping because it triggers Amazon to get item there faster otherwise it is late due to customers address is not open which this is not our fault this mess is created by AMAZON!

Mine did too - I went from 98% to 50% and I did not even ship that much but it was the holiday craziness that did it. I have a warning but not a shut down - won't they take into consideration that the holiday rush slowed things down?

Thank you for sharing those details @Seller_qMgi7qxvEo7f1

If the shipping services you wish to use do not meet the delivery promises for your orders, you should adjust your settings to allow more time for your deliveries.

If you believe you have already done this, your next step is to file a support case requesting instructions on any next steps you can take to achieve this.

If you still wish to use USPS Ground or other less expensive shipping options and believe they will meet the delivery promises, those options are available in Buy Shipping.

Opening a case makes no sense. I did, and no one helped

If you can share a case that includes specific details about your orders that you believe are not being planned correctly, I can ask our partner team to review the case.
